Khinkali House in Glendale is a rare opportunity for truly delicious food Yes, it’s a little pricey, but after the first bite, any questions about the prices disappear. The service is excellent—fast, polite, and with a smile.
My personal favorite is the fried lamb khinkali. It’s not just a dish, it’s fantastic
Another plus is the warm and beautiful girls who greet and see guests off, making you feel like you’re not just here for a meal, but in a good mood. A place you’ll want to return to… and again and again!

Unfortunately, our experience at this Georgian restaurant was very disappointing overall.

Right when entering the dining area, there was an unpleasant smell that seemed to be coming from the kitchen. The chicken soup we ordered for our child was overly salty, the rice in it was undercooked, and the broth didn’t taste fresh.

The khinkali filling had such a strong garlic smell and taste that it completely overpowered everything else. The only highlight was the khachapuri — it was actually delicious.

However, the worst impression came from the restroom. It was honestly the dirtiest restaurant bathroom I’ve ever seen. A rusty trash bin and toilet paper holder looked very unkempt, but what shocked me most was the extremely dirty plumbing fixtures. It felt like they hadn’t been properly cleaned for weeks, if not longer.

Seeing this level of hygiene in the restroom makes me worried about the cleanliness of the kitchen. It’s hard to understand how management allows this.

Overall, a very unpleasant experience — sadly, I can’t recommend this place.

Had to go to Glendale to take a civil-service exam, so I took advantage of the opportunity to try some authentic cooking from the Eurasian country of Georgia, which borders Turkey and Armenia. Got take-out:

the megrelsky (similar to cheese pizza, perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned)

one boiled lamb khinkali (dumpling)

one fried ground-beef khinkali.

All delicious, oil didn’t feel too heavy or too light; just the right amount of salt and seasoning. The lamb was just about perfect — tender, juicy, and flavorful, enveloped in savory broth. The fried dumpling was done just enough, and ground beef has never tasted so delicious $31.95 with tax.

Staff is a mix of Georgians, Russians and Ukrainians, and their language sounds beautiful. It’s been said that war was invented so Americans could learn geography, and I hope the same will be said of LA-area restaurants If I lived nearby, I’d treat myself monthly.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care.

The service truly elevated our visit. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes, especially the khinkali, and shared so much interesting information about Georgian cuisine that we actually thought she was Georgian! It turned out she was Armenian, which made her deep knowledge and passion even more impressive.

She was attentive and genuinely cared that we enjoyed every dish we ordered, making sure everything met our expectations. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic flavors and excellent service.

Get the dumplings! I mean, it’s in the name of the place! Trust me, you won’t regret it! Got their Zhengyalov Hatz, but compared to another place I’ve been to, it’s not bad, BUT the herbal flavors weren’t as strong as what I’ve tried elsewhere. Still not bad though! I’d still come back and try their other dishes!

I would like to leave a special thank you to Khinkali House and especially to our waitress, Sasha.

She was incredibly friendly while maintaining a truly professional attitude — a rare and valuable combination. Sasha helped us choose amazing khinkali, explained the dishes in detail, and made sure our dining experience was perfect.

Everything was absolutely delicious and felt truly luxurious.

The place was beautiful and calm. There’s many places to get dessert and stuff too around the restaurant. The food was a bit too salty for my family’s taste but it was still delicious!

This is a review from someone who has never had Georgian food–this was our first time and it was a great experience!

Our server was super sweet and checked in on us comstantly, and even gave us a mini lesson how to eat our khinkali she was very welcoming and fielded all of our questions.

We ordered the adjarskiy khachapuri, steamed khinkali, zhengyalov hatz and fried pelmeni. We loved everything but our favorite was definitely the zhengyalov hatz!

Definitely will be back again when we’re in the area next time

Very delicious food! The service was quick, which was a pleasant surprise. The khinkali were incredibly tasty, especially the mushroom ones but be cautious with the fried cheese khinkali if you’re not a fan of salty food. The skewers are something special — you won’t find anything like them in traditional American restaurants. Highly recommend!
