A perfect joint for lunch or dinner with your family. They offer freshly made soups, deli sandwiches and spuds. We visited McCalister’s deli for lunch and ordered their chicken sandwiches, broccoli cheddar soup, and spuds. Like always, the food was delicious. This place is strongly recommended if you are in a mood for quality lunch with your family.

Pleasant employees, clean environment. Failed on the food. The bacon was not fully cooked. The fat on cooked bacon is not white-ish. Also, it is crisp, not flimsy. (See pic.)
7/20/25 Gave them another try. Much better atmosphere. Got my meal to me much sooner.
Staff was back to the old staff.
They had 5 or 6 tables occupied.

The good staff seems to have left. The music has gotten louder and it has a lot of squealing–of one ethic bent. I will go eslewhere.
If I wanted to listen to motown I’d find it on my phone.
Service is now slower than molasses. Hood job McAlisters. The place is empty–I wonder why.

The place is either hopping or silent. Fridays seem to be the busiest days all day long, but always find a table. Staff learns your name and order. Whole staff works their best to give you the best experience. Great lunch place.

I’ve been to this location a few times, and I’ve always ordered carry-out. I can think of one time I had ordered a sandwich ahead, and I came 15 minutes late, and it still wasn’t prepared. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes in the store. Thankfully, that was a one-off experience. Other than the mobile ordered has been fantastic and very timely! They have an honor system process where you just grab your meal in a bag from a shelf. Your meal has a sticker receipt with your name on it.
I usually order the Spicy Turkey Melt, which consists of avocado, bacon, chipotle ranch, pepper jack cheese, roasted turkey spring mix lettuce, and tomato on a baguette. I also get a side order of chips, sweet tea, and lemonade for the drink. The sandwich is very consistent in flavor. It’s not spicy at all to me, but the blend of ingredients combines in a very scrumptious way. The tea they give you is plentiful in size and is very good in taste. If you’re a sweet lover you won’t be disappointed!

This location never disappoints and i mean never! I love placing my order with them because they ensure order accuracy and freshness every time. The gentleman at the register today is killing it, even while flustered still taking care of customers with the same great attitude! You go team

The service is great. The general manager checked on us a couple times too. We have gone a couple times and the food always looks good and tastes amazing. The atmosphere is nice because it is tucked away in a corner. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a cozy place to eat.

Nice place but the service is lacking. Guy at the front forgot a bunch of things on our plate and we had to ask for it. Will not return to this location best to drive to the one off university instead they had great staff. At the end our friend had a Rueben sandwich and found what looked like a small acorn. The person we notified was not surprised in fact knew immediately what it was she said it was an avocado stem. Her explanation of why it made it into the Rueben was that everything is made on the same board. She didn’t explain the physics of how it made it inside the sandwich. She gave a half hearted sorry and didn’t offer to discount or comp the meal. So had to change the review to 1 star.

There was this annoying emo guy that kept singing fireflies, he annoyed me so freaking bad and I am never coming again. Don’t recommend. He could be there waiting for you. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE.
