We ordered the chilaquiles with eggs and pozole. Since this was our first time trying this restaurant we asked for half green and half red chilaquiles. Both are delicious. The red is a perfect amount of spicy. I wanted to try the menudo but it’s a popular item and they sold out. The pozole is very delicious. They give you a small bowl for frjoles de la hoya. This place has an atmosphere like eating at home. Great service and excellent food.
We came to this restaurant a 2nd time ordering Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles. The Huevos Rancheros are the best I’ve ever tasted. They’re made with homemade chile Verde and pork. The beans and rice take me back to good homemade food. It’s a must try. The Chilaquiles are also very tasty. You can choose red or green or half n half. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered 4 Carne asada and a tall Tamarindo water. The icing on the cake was the complimentary beans with bacon. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area again. Muchas gracias♡

This cozy, family owned restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. Although the space is small, the staff efficiently manages table availability while you place your order. I’ve visited twice, and both times the food was exceptional. On this occasion, our group enjoyed the menudo and pozole, both of which were absolutely delicious. The bolillo was a perfect complement to the menudo, while the chips paired wonderfully with the pozole. This spot is clearly a local favorite, as they had already run out of champurrado during our visit, something I’ll definitely try next time. Highly recommend!

I love the menu! I tried the shrimp enchiladas with my family last week and I can’t stop thinking about how delicious they are! I really love the unique menu, much different and tasty compared to a lot of other places in the area. The staff is attentive and so kind and it’s a comfortable spot to eat inside as well.

The tamale combo was delicious! I got one pork and one chicken, they had different sauces so I didn’t have to choose. They accommodated my dairy-free request. Friendly staff and quick takeout. They even wrapped up the Coke because it was in a glass bottle.

My wife and I were looking for a new restaurant to try. I Googled authentic Mexican restaurant when I saw La Tapatia we decided to give them a try based on the positive reviews. Well the reviews were right!! The restaurant has a warm homely feeling with sitting area inside and out. As soon as we walked in Alondra greeted us with a warm welcoming smile. My wife ordered Huevos Rancheros and I Sunrise breakfast and 2 coffees. My wife and I sat outside when Alondra brought us our breakfast once again excellent service my wife could not stop talking about how delicious and authentic her Huevos Rancheros tasted and as for my Sunrise breakfast was just as delicious. We highly recommend both breakfast dishes not to mention the delicious coffee and excellent service tied everything together perfectly. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant.
