The food is always on point and what makes the food even more amazing, is the people that serve it and furthermore, put their heart and soul into ascertaining that their customers taste the passion that is placed into every order! I cannot commend this team enough and I am never coerced into writing these “novel type” reviews! Their blood, sweat, and tears of how much they care; from customer service to delivering quality products to their customers, is the reason that I make the time to write such stellar reviews about this location and this FANTASTIC team! It took over 10 minutes in the drive through with only two people there. A 5 dollar loaded Taco was tiny compared to what I would expect for the money and the meat was rubber. I regret trying it out.

I’ve been to basically every Taco Cabana in Austin. Never had an issue, until I came to this location. First thought when I walked in was that the entire building smelled like raw sewage. It was really off putting. so I go to order, stand there alone for about 10 minutes waiting to order as 2 different employees just stared at me. Onn by the drive thru, the other playing on their phone in the kitchen. Get my order placed and go sit down. Every table was disgusting. Food all over the chairs and tables, the tables were all worn out. The trash bins were literally warping from moisture damage in the wood. Just completely run down and just over all, pretty gross.
Finally got the food and again, disappointment. Really bad quality. the beans were hard and crusty as if they had been sitting around all day, the rice was also so dry it crunched. Inedible, also as if it had been sitting around for days. Tasted stale and like plastic. The cheese enchilada was also “recooked” and was so hard I broke the plastic fork just trying to cut a “CHEESE ENCHILADA”. Decided to get some salsa for my tortillas, and then I about threw up. The entire salsa bar was just infested with fruit flies. I mean the pico was completely covered with them. That mixed in with the sewage smell did it for me. I threw my food away and left, as now I was worried about getting sick.
Whomever runs this location gives zero Fs about cleanliness, upkeep, and quality. Really surprised as I have only had good experiences from (other) Taco Cabana in the past. Will never go back to this location again.

The best taco cabana location we’ve ever tried! My partner and I have tried a few which were pretty good but this location took the crown. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly— shoutout to Maria who was helpful and funny, she made the atmosphere friendly as soon as we walked in! It was very clean and organized as well as the vibe was very inviting! Highly recommend!

Just coming into burning, it was clean. The staff was nice. The food was warm was good so I recommend five stars to just Taco Bell Tamia Diana and Michelle did a wonderful job.

Your choices are eating in a dirty dining area, going through a super slow drive thru and getting some of what you ordered, and doing delivery through their app and getting nothing. I tried the delivery option again from the TC app and it marked my order delivered, but no one even showed up.
There is no customer service number, link or text option, so you have to call the automated line just to get the email address. They refunded my money but then my address is now magically not allowed to order delivery from their app. So you get banned from delivery orders for their / their third party’s screw up. My address is clearly marked in 3” numbers on our mailbox by our driveway, and our house looks like it does on Google. No apology, unlikely a mistake, probably someone just stole that shit. Waste of time. Now I’m scrambling to figure out plan B. When people order fast food delivery it’s because they’re busy and in a hurry. When restaurants screw it up, you have to do it all again at the last minute.

Skip this location. All food was cold. Took over 15 minutes to get food despite the food that I ordered being prepared (like frijoles). Also no one else was there. Flies everywhere.

At what point do you stop giving chances? We frequent the Menchaca and Slaughter Taco Cabana and the food is getting worse. Last night we ordered fajitas through Uber and the meat and beans were rancid no onions or peppers, no salsa.

I ordered a Chicken fajita bowl. The chicken was burned and dry. Took it back and the person didn’t give an apology about condition of the food she just said you should see your refund soon. Never will go there again
