Cindi’s was recommended by Google for Sunday Brunch. Arrived around 12:30 pm & though it was very busy, I was seated within 10 mins. They have a large variety of menu items to choose from, sure to cover any taste buds. I chose the banana pecan pancakes w/bacon & eggs. Also ordered chicken fried steak w/chicken & rice soup & a baked potato. The soup came out first & was so fresh & had a really good flavor. The bananas on the pancakes were fresh as well & reminded me of banana bread. There’s also a deli counter w/a selection of deli meats, pastries & bagels to choose & order from. Enjoyed the dining experience overall & the service provided.

Wonderful bustling neighborhood diner. Friendly and attentive service. I didn’t grow up in Dallas but every time our family comes here for a weekend brunch, it feels like home. I just wish they had soy or oat creamer.

Went to Cindi’s today for brunch and decided to have BREAKFAST! I had the Bacon and Sausage omelette and the wifey had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast. We both had decided on the pancakes and hash browns as our sides.
The protein portion of our food was excellent; my omelette was delicious and the wife enjoyed her steak. The hash browns and pancakes, however, left much to be desired. The hash browns were flavorless and soggy. The “crust” wasn’t crispy, and overall they were passable.
The pancakes were gritty gritty and “dense” (not fluffy). It was almost like eating a piece of flavorless French toast. We had to drown these dry pancakes in order to make them passable as well.
The service was amazing and the prices are what you’d expect eating out these days. The atmosphere was welcoming and old school, reminiscent of eating with Grandma at her favorite diner. We’ll definitely be back, just hope the sides are better next time!

Food quality is exceptionally high, but the corned beef sandwich is lacking flavor. Not my cup of tea, but still really well made.

I have come here three days in a row the food was so delicious. I give this place a 10 everything. They have not let me down. The customer service is immaculate here. Thank you, and you don’t have to worry if I will be back because I will. The first time I came, I had the Country Fried Steak for breakfast yawl. They are better than I hop and Denny’s hands down.

I enjoyed my overall experience here. My waiter was friendly and attentive. Our food came fast and it was hot! I find the prices to be very reasonable especially with the portions. And overall the restaurant was a clean and open space. We ordered the Deli Omelette w/ hash browns and a side of pancakes. The Omelette was okay, I wish it would’ve came with cheese and some veggies, we ordered all the meats so it was kinda dry and just texture wise, needed more. Personal preference on the hash browns, we do like ours a little harder. The pancakes were thick and fluffy and you can’t go wrong with that. We also ordered the French toast, blueberry compote topping. I love these French toast, I would come back just for them. I just ordered cheese eggs on the side which you can’t go wrong with that. They also offer a bakery section with fresh goods. They allll looked so scrumptious and tasty, we will have to come back for that.

Ordered the corned beef turkey and Swiss sandwich. The turkey and corned beef was very fresh and delicious. The pickles are good the only thing was I wish I would’ve ordered the coleslaw instead of the potato salad maybe it would been more flavor to it. 9.5/10

Cindy’s is exactly what it puts itself out there to be, an old-fashioned deli/diner. There are standard fare breakfast items, along with all the deli sandwiches you’d expect. As is the cast in most northeastern restaurants, Cindy’s also offers liver and beef tongue, which aren’t normally found on menus in Dallas.
Today we had hot pastrami sandwiches with potato salad and a side of onion rings. The pastrami was piled high, and the food was good. If you like delis/diners from the northeast than Cindy’s is worth a try if you’re near one.

Eating at Cindy’s was a pleasant experience there is a lot on the menu to choose from which is ok because it gives you a chance to try something different the next time you go. My brother’s had the Reuben, The Reuben with corned beef, and a side of Corned beef, I had the fried catfish with fried okra. The food was good and fresh. There is a wait to get in which let’s you know the food is really good. If you don’t live in Dallas and can’t make the drive often do yourself a favor and take a sandwich home for later and make sure you check out the dessert counter.
