Great place for fusion Asian food. We tried several of their starters and they were all quite nice. I had their seafood noodles and was very positively impressed by them.

Desserts were a highlight, especially the cheesecake, which came with a side of matcha ice cream.

The place looks eclectic and there’s always music playing. It’s a bit too dark for my taste but overall it has a great atmosphere.

Drinks are somewhat pricey.

Absolutely wonderful experience. We went for a special date night and we couldn’t have been happier. The presentations are very good. Get. The. Cocktail. The gin drinks were very good. The food was also awesome. We had a great night and even managed to put our phones down for a couple of hours and enjoy the food, drink, and atmosphere.

A special shout out to Andres, our server, was especially attentive and took good care of us. He answered any questions we had and really made the night.

Food is not very good, presentation ok, Ambience is great. My coworkers brought me here as they know I love Japanese food. Such a disappointment! They can’t either do the sushi rice right! Sushi rice is not fresh and all the sushi dishes are sweet for some reason! Nothing comparing to the sushi dishes I had in Brazil! Very disappointed as it is not cheap!

This is an amazing Japanese restaurant in the heart of Colombia. The presentation for each disk is out of the world. We went with the tasting menu and it was heavenly. Each dish showed amazing flavors that really made this experience unique. The sushi is what I recommend the most and each drink is smooth and delicious.

My experience at Viva la Vida in Bogota was a mixed one. While the sushi was good, it didn’t quite rank as the best I’ve had in the city. The presentation of the dishes was impressive, and the unique cocktail presentations added a creative touch to the dining experience. However, when considering the quality-to-price ratio, I found that there are better dining options in Bogota that offer a more satisfying culinary experience. Additionally, the service was notably slow and not up to par.

Wanted to exprience fine dining in Bogota with a Japanese twist. I was a single diner walk-in with no reservations. I was seated fairly quickly and went ahead and ordered: camarones al estilo, toro de salmon, iluminiscencia, 2 glases of wine (cab Sauv), and a glass of water. I was pleased with the food and flavours and also the experience. Each item was explained to me, and it was a bit theatrical. I loved the ambiance and would bring someone special on a date here. My bill was about $110 CAD, including tip.

The waiter took our drink order without showing us the menu, and we later found out the margaritas were 92,000 COP each — the most expensive item on the bill, even more than the beef. It felt deceptive and predatory, like they were trying to catch people off guard.

I’ve eaten at 1, 2, and 3 Michelin star restaurants in the U.S. and Asia — this place is not even remotely close. The food looked nice but was average at best.

I wouldn’t go back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

We came here because the restaurant had great reviews on tripadvisor… we quickly understood why.
After the meal, the waiter insisted that we scan the QR code, give 5 stars, and write a comment — really putting pressure on us to do it.
The food was okay, nothing special.

The food is amazing! The octopus with “papa criolla” is to die for. I loved the philosophy of sharing the dishes amongst the group. Tried the mock tails and they were very good!

The sushi is great, same as the
