We came in for a quick meal and drinks, very relaxing atmosphere. The service was good and the food was delicious they give you a very generous serving of calamari so plan to take some home which was nice. The appetizers alone was very filling so only get one if you you are on a date.
P.S : They still have their Christmas holiday drink menu so hurry up and try some before it’s gone.

I went here with two girlfriends on a cold Saturday afternoon. In celebration of the new year, two of us had martinis and one had wine . My cosmopolitan was served icy cold in a beautiful glass and was a delight. My friends enjoyed their drinks as well. I ordered the Scarface sandwich which was similar to a Cuban pressed sandwich with pork, cheese and pickles. It was great and the garlic fries were really good. I’d come back just for the fries! My friend’s Cobb salad was huge and she really enjoyed it. I’m not sure what was in the dish our other friend ordered but she liked it. For dessert we split the creme brulee. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. It was a very good visit.

LOCAL GEM!!!!! Makes Gurnee Folk feel extremely sad we don’t have a downtown area with a location like this. Came in to catch up with old friends we we got to be seated in couches by the fireplace with excellent ambiance. Non-Alcoholic hot chocolate was great!!! Loved the seasonal-themed drinks. Staff was very attentive and at no point did we feel rushed to leave. We will definitely be back!!!

A solid local bar, The Vine has a great atmosphere and great service. I visited on a weeknight to have a drink with a friend. The cocktails were excellent and I’m told the wine offerings was good. The back patio was spacious (even though a portion was closed for the cold weather) and very warm. The crowd was diverse with folks coming and going up to closing time giving it a nice sense of business. An employee ensured we enjoyed our visit before leaving. I would come back and try the food.

We really enjoy eating here. The food is very good in general. They make an excellent Reuben, and the small plates are great! Drinks are a bit on the small side. Service is good almost always but always friendly and cordial. We highly recommend The Vine, especially in the summer with their outdoor/covered patio and bar. Really nice!The Vine is an important asset that makes Grayslake great.

First time in and Holly did an amazing job! She handled my allergies, and communicated with the kitchen on my behalf very well. Most importantly- she was friendly and patient. Chai old fashion was perfectly balanced, and baked Bri appetizer were delicious.

To be honest, the tower carrot cake is what brought us there but the food somehow managed to outshine it. The marinara sauce with goat cheese and bread was so good I could have drank it like soup. Salad was fresh and the homemade dressing were amazing. I get so stuck ordering the same thing it was great having such different menu its that tasted as good as they sounded. My husband had the pork chop and it was cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was friendly. Both parties to seated next to us were nice – we were all checking out each other’s dinner selections for next time. Such a lovely place. Only took one photo of the carrot cake we took to go. We were both so full but had to have a quick bite, then had more of it the next day.

I had the salmon. It was amazing!! Went back 5/10/25 last week and the food was top notch. Bison burger and fried green beans. I deducted a little for atmosphere this time because they drag the garbage from kitchen through the patio seating by the fireplace. Very loud rollers (change to rubber) and not nice for atmosphere.
