This place is very much giving the vibe of Nigeria as the food is spot on and the decor is like I’ve taken the usual 12 hour flight!! Best spaghetti and the only place yet I’ve been to visiting Dallas that the Ewedu taste fresh with a perfect draw. Thanks so much for the pleasure. It does cost but was worth every penny plus a great tip

Absolutely delicious! This platter was a feast in every sense. The whole fried fish was perfectly seasoned—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The sides were just as impressive: rich, well-seasoned rice, fresh and creamy coleslaw, sweet fried plantains, and a perfectly grilled corn on the cob. The sauces tied everything together beautifully and added an extra layer of flavor. Presentation was great, portions were generous, and every bite tasted fresh and made with care. Definitely a meal worth coming back for—highly recommend!

I am uncertain about where to begin; the hospitality, decor, and ambience were pleasant and inviting, reminiscent of Nigeria. The food was simply irresistible and tantalizing. Everything I tasted was exceptionally delicious. Whenever I am in Dallas, I will certainly visit Kanny’s Restaurant. It is the finest in Dallas.

Criminal!

Especially the person in the kitchen.

I ordered egusi soup with pounded yam from your restaurant, expecting three pieces of meat as advertised. After paying $50, I received only two. When I called, the staff lied and then hung up. They said the remedy would be when I order again, this is absolutely appalling and absurd. I demand a full refund or immediate correction; this kind of treatment is unacceptable.

First time eating here, and my husband and I really enjoyed it. The service was decent, and the food definitely hit the spot. We had the suya, which was served traditionally with red onions and tomatoes, so good. We also enjoyed the egusi soup with the perfect spice level I had mine with beef, while my husband went for the assorted meats. The pounded yam was fresh and well made. My husband also enjoyed his malt, and we loved the Afrobeats playing in the background it set a great vibe. Prices were very reasonable too. We’d definitely come back.

I really enjoyed my visit here! The food was excellent and full of flavor. I ordered the fish with plantains, and it came with coleslaw and spaghetti—I was pleasantly surprised by how generous the portion was. Everything tasted great. The owner was so kind, and the customer service was top-notch. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Came for Jallof rice they had a Limited supply of it so the server recommended the whole tilapia it took about 45 minutes to come to the table overall a whole tilapia was delicious and enough for two people to share total came out to about $60 with soda in a bottle of water. The owner was nice enough. He offered us two bottled waters in addition and also was attentive to us and let us know what was going on with our order.
