Exceptional Colombian quality! Best pandebono in illinois by far. I loved their maracuya drink also. I grew up going to several Colombian places with my Colombian family but this one is phenomenal. We will be back! Very generous portions and very well done.

Awesome and amazing foods! We ordered the tamal tolimense, sweet plantains, fried yucca, and steak with papa criolla sandwich. The flavors were rich and so yummy!
The service was so nice and helpful. The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing.

We tried this place for the first time looking for authentic Colombian (so hard to find outside of the city) and it did NOT disappoint. The arepas con queso, and the empanadas were fantastic. The Carne Asada (NY Strip) was delicious and cooked perfectly. We also tried the Carajillo and some mango juice…all the food was 10/10 and the service was great. Unassuming location worth dozens more visits.

On October 19 ,2024 at 1:00 pm we went to Colombian Taste Restaurant. When we entered the restaurant it was nice and inviting. The Hostess sat the 3 of us Right away at a great table. Our waitress Deanna was wonderful she informed us what everything we were ordering had in it . And was helpful and very knowledgeable about all the cuisine . It was our pleasure having such a kind, patient, understanding server like her . We ordered the Picada 2 Servings, and two orders of Plato Mixto. The food came out and it looked like a work of art and tasted just as good. Also the food was all fresh and temperature hot. The food was seasoned perfect but not spicy hot. You can add it on your own. But it was super delicious and we highly recommend. The place was little busy but very comfortable. The prices were very reasonable and we enjoyed the restaurants charming atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for amazing food,prices, and fun place but most of all the employees are wonderful. Be back soon . Look at the awesome pictures of our food we ordered.

We enjoyed ourselves, the food was good. However, I will say, our take-home leftovers began stinking HARD about 25 minutes into our ride home. The next day, our home was overwhelmed with a strong sewage, spoiled meat odor that only gained strength. We threw away the meat we brought back, we didn’t want to take a risk. Not saying they served us spoiling meat, but that stink was “carniceria on a hot day” pungent. We don’t know if we’ll be going back.

I had the pleasure of eating the amazing Empanadas. They are perfectly cooked, a lot of filling which you don’t see that often at other restaurants, and the sauces are amazing! Both sauces are great for dipping. I would highly recommend trying the excellent selection of choices at Colombian’s Taste! I will absolutely come back for more! Thank you!
