Rusteak in Thornton Park is such a great spot if you’re looking for an elevated but relaxed dining experience. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and stylish without feeling stuffy — perfect for a date night or a night out with friends.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the chimichurri added a bright, fresh kick. The parmesan-dusted fries were crispy and addictive, and the pasta dish was rich, comforting, and generously topped with perfectly seasoned chicken and shaved parmesan. Everything we ordered felt thoughtful and high quality.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made us want to stay and enjoy the evening instead of rushing out.
Definitely a go-to spot in Thornton Park — great food, great energy, and a place I’d happily come back to again.

It was a while since I didn’t enjoy a restaurant so much until last night that we went to Rusteak, food is extremely delicious, I asked our waiter recommendations for starters and he said the flat bread and pinchos were very good so we ordered that and he was lying, they’re were not “very good”, they were extremely delicious!!!!!!…. Then the main dishes, we chose Keto Keto, Shrimp Linguini, rice bowl and the steak frites, were stunningly delicious… 100% recommend this place for your family night, friends reunion, table for two or just yourself sitting in the bar, atmosphere and service is 5 out of 5 also.

Loved this place! We were in the Broken Cage side of the restaurant which gives a feel of a speakeasy. I had the best espresso martini ever (made by Z)! The food was delicious! We had with the flathead appetizer, the fish of the day (Corvina, which the chef modified for my allergies), pecan chicken, and the vegetarian ratatouille rice bowl!

A friend and I visited RusTeak Thornton Park with a friend for dinner. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, and a little loud, but we were able to be seated in a relatively quiet section of thendoning room. Our waiter, Corbin, was awesome. He had just the right balance if making sure all was well, but not “hovering”. Also, the kitchen sent me then ring meal initially, and he noticed immediately and corrected the situation. I ordered a “Red Fish” dinner and it was prepared perfectly. My friend ordered steak and was very pleased. This was my first visit to this restaurant, but it will not be the last.

RusTeak at Thornton Park blew us away! I had the RusTeak Burger—easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the steak sandwich, and it was to die for—tender, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and relaxed—perfect for a night out.

Rusteak never disappoints for me. It’s clean, plenty of seating, beautiful on the inside! Servers are very gracious and helpful with cocktail and wine selections. Food is always amazing. Fresh. Imaginative. Fun. The happy hour is 25% off apps, cocktails and wine by the glass (at the time of my visit) so a nice value! We always stop in with friends before shows at the Dr Phillips center and order a bunch of shareables. Never had a bad time. Food is always on point and extremely tasty.

My boyfriend and I had a dinner date at RusTeak and sat outside. Our waitress was super kind and accommodating, especially when we needed to rush our bill. Happy hour 25% off was a great deal and the cocktails were fantastic! The flatbread with chopped apples was delicious, and the edamame was solid. However my chicken entree was just okay the sauce was overly sweet, almost syrupy, and the chicken could’ve been cooked better. Overall great service and drinks, and appetizers but wasn’t a fan of the entree.

Went for first time and ordered from Magical Dining menu, on a Friday evening. Our server was friendly and attentive (don’t recall her name, but she looks like Kirsten Dunst). The atmosphere is casual and lively, but a bit loud.
We ordered the blue crab cakes (delicious and generous), NY Strip steak, and the fish w risotto. The steak was overdone (ordered medium), but the fish dish was excellent (the fish was just a touch dry). The mashed potatoes w the steak and the risotto w the fish were very flavorful
For dessert we ordered the bread pudding and chocolate tart. The bread pudding was very good, we haven’t yet tried the tart (in fridge). The portions are very generous and will make for “Magical Leftovers”.
We will return, but on a less busy day as parking is a challenge.

Amazing spot downtown! This is such a good spot to stop by near Lake Eola downtown. Walkable from most places, and it is a very unique atmosphere. The food and service were both excellent. Happy hour is a great time to come to try some of the signature cocktails and apps.
