Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

There appears to be a misunderstanding regarding Whataburger’s free coffee policy for veterans. A sign at the drive-thru broadly advertises “Veterans get free coffee,” without mentioning a date restriction. Store management, however, advised an employee that the offer was exclusively for Veterans Day. The discrepancy between the sign’s message and the manager’s guidance creates an inconsistent customer experience. The young man at the window provided excellent service by proactively covering the cost, but clarity on the official policy would prevent future confusion.

Big shoutout to Caleb! We received the wrong order during the online pickup. We did not notice until we arrived at home. We called the restaurant and Caleb was very professorial and promptly remade us the correct order! He had the order waiting for us when we arrived. Great job to Caleb and the other staff members for fixing the mistake with professionalism and great customer service.

Stopped by the Royse City Whataburger and had an awesome experience thanks to Kieara Kat. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely upbeat—one of those employees who makes you feel welcome instead of rushed. My order was spot-on, service was quick, and her positive attitude really stood out. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it makes a difference. This is the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. Big shout-out to Kieara Kat for making this stop a great one! Promote now. Whataburger needs her leadership.

See photos – I wouldnt normally complain about my burger being given to me like this. Its just ketchup, oh well. But the reason I decided to reach out to the restaurant is because I found a wavy coarse hair in my food. So sanitation is obviously an issue at this location. I did reach out to the restaurant first, I reached out the same day and received an email stating my message was received and I would hear back in 2-3 days. 5 days later, still nothing, so I reached out again. I just wanted to be refunded for the burger that had the hair in it, because it got thrown away. The manager, Sam, emailed me back pretty quickly and said she would give me a free one at my next visit. I emailed her back immediately saying that I would prefer a refund on the burger itself because we wont be back after finding hair in food. She just chose to never respond to me. So now im here! I would have loved to settle this issue without a review. Poor sanitation and poor management. And just to add – the employees always seem really ticked off to be at work. Not a single one we have ever come across will even smile at you. They say absolutely nothing to you with blank stares and mad faces.

Visited around 9:30 on a Saturday morning. 2 cars in front of us in the DT. We ordered 2 uncomplicated breakfast meals. Waited around 15 mins for them to say “sorry we are real busy”… umm where? Our food was lukewarm, the biscuits and gravy were like hard tack and gruel lol yuck. Idk if lunch/dinner are any better but my bubble guts right now are telling me “nah”.

Morning Shift drive thru on Thursday February 12th has the worst customer service ever. The person that gave us our food actually looked like a manager or trainer. Me and my mother n law order our food in the drive thru and the employee repeated the order back to us correctly. As soon as we got to the window to get our food we were not greeted at all. The employee stuffed 2 kids meal and a whole combo in one small bag. We checked the bag and were missing an item let them know he went to get it and came back with the item in no bag just out in the open. We made it home and come to find out we had other items missing as well. It was as if he already knew we were missing items he just wanted us to point them out. WORST WHATABURGER EVER AND NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN especially with the reviews and stars they are getting. SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED

I normally don’t write bad reviews but I honestly just received the worst hamburger I’ve ever had. We stopped on our way to watch our grandson’s basketball game. The place wasn’t busy from our view. Our order took longer than we expected. The bun on my burger was soaking wet. My guess is the condensation from sitting under a heat lamp all afternoon. Our order was to go and we were on the road so we didn’t return but I will never stop at this Whataburger again.

I was ecstatic when I heard that Whataburger brought back their chicken fajita taco. This is one of my wife’s and my favorites! Ordered two for curbside pickup on the mobile app. Customized both with some added grilled jalapeños and some additional grilled onions. App gave me a pickup time and I was there and entered my parking space number. It took 20 minutes past the pickup time to get my order. Got it home… no jalapeños or onions on either, after paying extra for these. This location has screwed up my order more than once. Probably won’t be eating from this location anymore anytime soon!!!

I normally order the Cobb Chicken Salad at Whataburger. But the salad this time the lettuce is in terrible condition. I ordered it to go, and I’m far away from this location to return the item. This happen to me at the Royse City, TX location. Terrible experience this time!
