Dined here for a birthday dinner and overall had a wonderful experience! I cannot say enough nice things about Nelson, we absolutely loved him! The cocktails were nice- the Sea Pearl was a fun one! Overall the food was great- we felt the saffron risotto was a little on the dry side, and the spicy lobster sushi was a bit underwhelming (but tasted fresh and was prepared well). The branzino was fantastic, and the crab and lobster mac and cheese was a favorite. The baked Alaska was a really fun surprise, even if we were too full to finish it!

Everything was so fantastic. From our wonderful server Erubiel, the quiet upscale atmosphere, and delicious food and drinks, we would absolutely visit again. Everything was tasty & timely, staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful, & coat check is a big plus during cold season! Loved it here!

The large seafood tower was great. Our server was great. The restaurant was too dimly lit for my liking. However all in all we will be back. The service is what makes this place but the food isn’t far behind.

Ronnie or Ronny (spell check) is the epitome of what a manager of a place of upscale should be! He made us feel special, celebrated, and made sure that our experience was nothing short of amazing!! He recommended the crab cakes and they were so good! Our server Paige was knowledgeable and recommended the dish that I ordered and LOVED! I just moved here from Indiana, there is an Oceanaire there, and this place blew the Indiana location OUT OF THE WATER!!! Ronnie/Ronny and Paige need raises!!! They are AMAZING!!! please come here, yall! You will not regret it. Ask for Paige and if Ronnie is working, he will be around to talk to you because he is amazing and you can truly tell that he is an intentional manager. Thank you, Paige and Ronnie! You’ve earned my business for life.

As someone who has eaten at every Michelin Star restaurant in DC (and disappointed by most)I haven’t even finished my meal here and I can’t recommend more. I dined alone for my birthday and the attention to detail by all staff is unparalleled. Photo includes complementary bread (exceptional), pickle plate, shrimp cocktail, crab cake, and halibut special. If you are seeking exceptional service AND food quality I highly recommend. It’s impossible to list the names of the associates that made my evening but the short list includes:: Elmer, Minor, Ronnie and Fernando (to be clear everyone not listed is incredible). Thank you for making this feel like I wasn’t alone and providing above and beyond meal and service. I couldn’t ask for more.

We came here for a work lunch. Just fine fresh food done very well. If you enjoy seafood, you came to the right place. I had a Caesar salad and clam chowder soup and I was very satisfied. The flavors and seasoning were done perfectly. If you’re looking for a perfectly executed working meal near the Metro Center in Washington DC, I highly recommend.

We were on a business trip lunch with a tight schedule. The waiters were super accommodating and humorous. It became a game for them to serve us as quickly as possible to maximize our eating and enjoyment time, by streamlining everything including our selection. Also they cook a mean steak. It was perfect for what we needed.

Ended up coming here after another neighboring restaurant had abruptly cancelled our reservations. I called and was able to make quick reservations on a Saturday night. First and foremost, the valet, maitre d and accompanying staff were very warm and inviting. Our server Paige was absolutely on point. She was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and epitomized hospitality. The ambiance was tranquil and swank and the food was top notch. The appetizers and our entrees which consisted of Chilean Sea Bass and Grilled Branzino was incredible, a definite recommendation. 5 stars!

I celebrated my birthday here and loved it! Easy 10/10. I tried to post this review to Open Table but it didn’t show up in my visited places. Our Hostess was Jennifer and our Waiter was Arubio. They were both absolutely lovely and so friendly.
The food was excellent. I had fried Lobster and my husband had filet mignon. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and was SO delicious!
For my birthday they gave me a card, a personalized menu and flaming dessert. People don’t have to do a thing for you and I appreciated very much each of those touches.
I’m not from the DC area but I have coworkers who will visit and I highly recommend this restaurant. If I go back to DC, I will pay them a visit!

Food was good. Cocktail was average…had an old fashioned. Server needs to tell you about the additional charge for the lump crab on the sea bass, that sprinkling of crab meat was $20, not worth the additional charge. Overall, ok experience
