First time in. Wanted a delicious sandwich to go but didn’t have a ton of time to wait. The chef greeted me right away and said he’d start making my Reuben, super friendly and kind. The waitress was also sweet. Was in and out so quick! Reuben was fresh and the rye held up well to the sauerkraut. Also, the fries super good. Definitely get the horseradish mayo for dipping.

We had a great experience at The Golden Diner. We joined the online waitlist on a busy Sunday morning, and the wait was only about 15 minutes. It was easy to find, with plenty of street parking nearby.
Service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent. The extra-large pancakes were a big hit at our table. You can really see why they have been serving great breakfasts in Golden for so many years. We will definitely be back.

The most amazing experience. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and served coffee immediately! Ordered the Avocado Benedict and a screwdriver- both incredible. The place itself is so quaint yet comfortable -beautiful decor and friendly strangers gathered around the bar. In conclusion, great service, great food/drink AND great atmosphere. It was a very pleasant warm welcome to Golden!

My son, of course, ordered the Mountain Man Burrito filled with 2 meats, your choice, hashbrowns, peppers, onions, eggs, topped with the green pork chili sauce.
Hubby ordered the breakfast tacos with brisket sausage, eggs served with crispy hashbrowns.
EVERYTHING was delicious!

Service was a 10. Everyone was super nice and helpful from the moment we walked it. The food was amazing my family and I cleaned our plates clean. The Campfire omelet and chai French toast is so good! Highly recommend for a great breakfast meal.

I ordered the round up with the chai french toast (which I cannot recommend enough if youre going to visit). The food was delicious, the french toast had just enough spice where you could taste it but it wasnt overpowering. The brisket sausage was also delicious. I personally don’t like breakfast sausage, so I was a little hesitant to order it. Im so glad that I did, because it was sooo good. The service was fast and the waitress was kind and helpful. I would say that it’s not a 50’s style diner, but a modern diner, which was refreshing. I will definately be back for more of that French Toast.

I visite Golden recently, and we got breakfast at the Golden Diner. The place was very busy, as that is always a good sign. They have a large menu of breakfast options. Our food was fresh and tasty, and there was nothing disappointing in our dining experience. The locals seem to love this place, and I would go back again if I visit Golden again. I recommend giving it a try. Golden Diner gives classic diner vibes the moment you walk in.

Delicious breakfast in the heart of Golden. No doubt will be busy any time on the weekends but for good reason. We put our names in and enjoyed a walk through campus and down to the creek. Breakfast burrito was massive and packed with eggs and beef. Omelette was cooked perfectly and the chocolate chip pancake was perfection. Great place to stop.

Sunday morning breakfast. This was a great choice. Cute diner downtown Goden, what’s not to love. My biggest complaint would be I like diners to have a quaint, simplicity about them. A feel-good spot, if you know what I mean. I don’t feel like The Golden Diner had that vibe. However, what they lack in grandma’s kitchen feel they make up for with their food. I had the Dude. It was a HUGE portion. It was delicious. I like my green chili to have a bit more spice than the chili had but there were very solid flavors. I also had a side of smoked brisket sausage…. YES!!! That was 100% the highlight of my meal. the portion was generous, and the smoke flavor was incredible. My partner got the chicken fried steak. The gravy had to have been made in house (we found our diner, grandma comfort). It was exactly what you want from gravy. The chicken fried steak appeared to be hand breaded. If it wasn’t they do good at what they do. Let’s also not forget the mimosa. Go, go get a mimosa and smoked brisket sausage. Come back and thank me later.
