Stopped by after late night shopping. Tried using app but it would let me because it said this location was closed. Drove by and was obviously open so went through the drive-thru. They asked if I was used the app and I said I tried but it wouldnt work because it said you were closed and employee just said ya thats because were normally closed at this time…ok?.. should have been my first clue. We arrived at 11:15 and they said would be a few. We were only car in drive-thru. Probably after 5 mins they came back and took our order. Curious an employee was sitting outside back door and several alarms could be heard coming from the open backdoor. We pulled around to wait for our order and we sat and waited for a good 20 to 25 mins on our order. It was 11:50pm when we left from getting our food. I double checked it and food was correct but forgot our nugget sauce. I flagged down an employee who haded us them and apologized. We moved over to parking lot to inspect everything. We were given no straws or napkins and also drinks didnt have any ice. Apparently the holdup was a couple burgers that kicked out a grill ticket. Thos 2 burgers were fresh but fries, nuggets and other burgers were cold. One burger even had a hard hockey puck for a bun and cheese was hard and glassy. That food gad obviously sat the 20 to 25 mins it took to make the other 2 burgers. Luckily I keep napkins and extra straws in the glove box for situations like this. Food was dissapointing and cant remember having worse food at any McDonald’s than this before. Hopefully was just a 1 off experience.

The food was good! The ice cream machine was broken which was sad because I was really excited to have a shamrock shake! The lady at the front was real honest and nice! The store wasn’t very clean! Those bathrooms were gross!

Pulled in at 09:58 p.m. with a mobile order to the drive through. Their back door was open with trash cans laying on their sides In the walk way inside. There was a woman who was sitting outside and looked directly at us before walking back inside. I could visibly see several workers walking around inside the store. Sat in the drive through at the intercom for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgement. Refund the order and went elsewhere. There was one truck sitting out the pick up window the entire time. I have had several bad experiences here since moving here. I would suggesting avoiding this establishment.

Waited in line for 35 minutes our food was old. The McChicken patty is hard and tough like a cracker. The fries are old and nasty. The price is too high for such sub standard food and service.

Door dash did an excellent job delivering the food and keeping us updated because McDonald’s was slow. Not my complaint. I only order like 3x a year from Chanute McDonald’s and every single time they manage to mess the order up somehow. This time I don’t even understand it. Why say if we add tomatoes then we get two and only put one? Why am I paying for 2 items and getting half of it? We also have other food in this order, McDoubles with only one pickle per sandwich, haven’t checked the hubby’s sandwiches yet because I got so irritated this time that I had to leave a negative review. Ridiculous. It’s not that hard to grab two tomatoes or a dang pickle and put it on the sandwich. Last time they gave me spicy instead of regular chicken. The time before that they gave me the wrong sandwich in general. How incompetent do you have to be to not even follow the order of operations to build an easy McDonald’s sandwich?? So frustrated.
Update: hubby can’t eat his sandwiches either. Ordered plain cheeseburgers and they both have loads of mustard and one pickle on them as well. Not happy.

Manager is EXTREMELY rude. Asked for more sauce because I had a lot of fries and nuggets and she straight up said no. One of her employees was kind enough to give me the sauce, he seemed embarrassed of her behavior. She was also yelling at her employees while doing NOTHING. She had a horrible attitude towards her customers and staff. I mourn for them and hope they can find a better job! She needs to be checked by HR and honestly, needs to be fired. She is a negative nancy and is overall, useless. Would not recommend coming here just because of her! Poor staff!

There are a bunch of really tacky printed signs in the first window that you can see from the drive-thru. Horrible grammar. ” Dont call in all time Dont be part of team No argue ” etc. Looks like an incredibly toxic place to work. If you’re going to have people sitting in the slowest drive-thru in town, I would suggest moving those or taking them down altogether. If I thought there was any chance that I would have to deal with the person that hung those, there is zero chance I would go there.

0 star rude people, food is always old. They need to shut this McDonald down or do a check up on these peoples customer service and rehire. Fastest wait time I have experienced is 10 minutes. Makes me miss the city McDonald they actually cared about thier drive thru times and the attitude of their employees.

0 STARS. WORST PLACE I’VE EVER BEEN.
I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. We sat in the drive-thru for over 35 minutes, only to get food that looked and tasted like straight-up garbage. Cold, disgusting, and completely inedible — we threw every bit of it in the trash. The staff clearly couldn’t care less, and it’s obvious no one here has even heard the words “customer service.”
This place should honestly be shut down. The fact it’s still running is beyond me. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration — DO NOT EAT HERE. EVER.

They seemed overwhelmed by orders. They are unable to keep up with Door Dash/ mobile, drive through and walk in. The fries were old. People were hollering back and forth trying to keep up. Overall displeased.
