Great pizza in an historic home. Inside seating in a couple locations with outside seating in a relaxed porch setting. A beautiful wooden bar is located in one of the indie seating areas. Pizza was delicious. The rice meatball appetizer tasted and appeared to be a purchased, frozen product, like most of the desserts. The great pizza and historic atmosphere makes this a must stop restaurant.

Excellent service and the food was awesome. We went there to celebrate my daughters birthday. You get alot of food for your money, They sang happy b-day and gave her a slice of cake with a candle. We really enjoyed everything. The restaurant is very clean, it has table and chairs on the front porch. We’re looking forward to visiting again soon.

Went here for dinner tonight. The atmosphere is cozy with seating both inside and out. We sat inside. Our server was Kara, and she did an excellent job. The food was quite delicious. The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star review was because our food took a long time to arrive. It wasn’t our server’s fault; I believe the kitchen was taking a long time to get the food out. Nevertheless, the food was great, and we’ll be back.

First time ever I couldn’t finish my meal. I ordered the Tuscan Pasta with chicken and the portion was enough for 2! It was devine. Hubby had the lasagna.
Had to try the cheesecake, also the best I’ve tasted in Citrus County since my neighbor moved! Garlic knots were passable but a little on the dry side, I’m use to rolls dripping with garlic. We will definitely come back again.
Only 4 stars due to no dark beer choices.

Only went ones but the food was great and very nice service. Would differently go back to try another pasta dish if back in that area. After a nice dinner you can check out the small local shops and scream store. Cute little town with a historic back round.

Ordered Chicken Marsala and Tuscan Chicken for entree. Had the Tuscan Veggie Soup as appetizer. First off, the Tuscan Veggie Soup was great, favorable and satisfying. Rolls were served with the meal. Wife had salad which was fresh and plentiful. My Chicken Marsala was OK, but something was missing in the flavor department. Wouldn’t really rate it as great. Wife had Tuscan Chicken with penne and vegetables and was very good. Our server was Matthew and he was great.
We will return to try the pizza and other dishes.

Every time we are Inverness, my husband and I grab something delicious, whether it is dine in or carry out. Angelo’s is known for their fresh ingredients and the best they can obtain. We are always pleased with service and our Italian food cravings are beyond met. The Lasagna is perfect and enormous. The garlic knots are something I can only aspire to recreate in my home kitchen. The fettuccine Alfredo and the baked ziti are go-to orders for us and for our family members. When we make plans to visit family and friends, Angelo’s makes the list as my husband’s hometown restaurant.

Totally bummed with Angelo’s as of right now.
I’ve heard great things about this restaurant but it lacked immensely the night we went. I’m not sure if they we’re having a rough day, were really short staffed, or maybe they had something else going on. The wait times seemed a bit much (20 minute wait for garlic knots, an hour wait to get our food from the time it was ordered). It seemed like there was great teamwork with the workers who were there because everyone was helping everyone. Between filling drinks, taking empty plates and ringing out checks, there was a new face every time at our table. I also hate to mention that with waiting so long the food was pretty underwhelming. I ordered a “Chicken Parmigiano Rollo” for $14.99 and it was burnt on the bottom, more dough than mozzarella or marinara and just didn’t taste very good overall.
Pictured below is my Chicken Parmigiano Rollo.

** This is an initial review! Everyone deserve a second chance. So I will go back and give it another go!

It was a little disappointing, I was expecting real Italian food, instead my wife lasagna was dry and the pasta over done, the garlic rolls were dry and had almost no garlic. My shrimp scampy lack taste even the angel hair pasta needed seasoning, Then I got the cannoli, they were small around 2″ long, and no powder sugar this for 8:99. My friend said the pizza was great but 28.90 for a 16″ it better be. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Very impressed for my first visit here. Had a large and small pizza with garlic knots, one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Pizza crust was well cooked and crispy along with the great tasting sauce. Service was on point, fast and very courteous. Will be back for more at this Inverness location.
