This place is in the middle of nowhere along the spoon river. It’s known for their massive tenderloins and they truly are HUGE!!! Don’t worry they are fabulous as well. Make the drive, take in the scenery as you go, and enjoy a meal that will give you more than a days worth of meals.

Never disappoints. Only 1 person in our group finished the Big Tenderloin. Everyone else had the Share a Tenderloin! 1 got the Fish Sandwich, which was also delicious! Great prices and a wonderful selection to choose from on the menu. Not to mention, our waitress was very quick, accommodating, and friendly. Our drinks never went dry and it was a very relaxed atmosphere! Well done! 🙂

This bar in the small town of London Mills is everything I had heard about. Of course I had to try the tenderloin which they are known for. It was as big as I’d heard, it was not paper thin either. The burgers are large and juicy. We started with the half order of onion rings. A very generous amount and quite tasty. The prices are very reasonable here.

Great food and service. The burgers and tenderloin are absolutely enormous! If you go to Spoonies to eat, bring your appetite and expect to take some food home with you. It’s nearly impossible to finish the burger & the tenderloin. As well as being big, they are really good & cooked perfectly. I will definitely be a return customer.

After looking on the “Only in Your State” site for tenderloins we made the hour and 40 minute drive from Iowa to this extremely small town of 500 in London Mills, Illinois. All of the reviews were good and deservedly so. The staff was friendly and prompt and the food was delicious ! I like my tenderloins battered so I didnt actually have one but could see other’s who had and they were huge. I had an adult grilled cheese called the “Colbert” with cheese, bacon, egg, and mayo on Texas toast along with seasoned waffle fries and it was delicious as described ! Well worth the nice Sunday drive to this little ‘off the beaten path ‘ bar and grill.

My Dad took me and my family to eat here and although it wasn’t busy around 3pm, you can tell this place is busy in the evening and weekend based on food and service.
Appetizer came out very quickly and our main meals were out shortly after that. My burger was cooked to perfection.
You’d never find this place unless someone you knew, knows about it. Its one of those hole in the wall places that is a MUST VISIT!
