The risotto was well seasoned without being overpowering. The rice had great bite and texture, perfectly cooked, with a rich and thick sauce coating every grain. The seafood flavour was deep and fresh. The mussels were tasty but slightly on the smaller side, fuller ones would make the dish even better.
The chicken meatball pizza was the highlight of the meal. You can really taste that both the pizza dough and tomato sauce are homemade. The crust was chewy and full of character. The chicken meatballs were incredibly flavourful and well-seasoned — easily a 10/10.
Overall, a solid Italian meal with bold flavours and thoughtful preparation. Definitely a place worth revisiting.
The restaurant is located in perfect place right next to the famous Pulteney Bridge and the atmosphere was cozy and warming.
We had one pasta each per person and one starter bruschetta to share, the portions were good for lunch as well!
Service was welcoming and attentive and also they have a decent espresso.
I got the gluten free Tagliatelle Alfredo and my friend got Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were incredible.
Main let down was the service, from the get go the waitress was quite hostile and not very polite. A different waiter was also helping who was slightly better but didnt exactly feel taken care off.
You can find them on the world famous Pultney bridge in Bath City centre.
We were really impressed with the quality of the food and would definitely return. Unfortunately, I was too full to try their tiramisu. Guess I’ll have to go back!
Food was incredible, we had seafood ravioli and Marinara Pizza, very very fresh indeed, you could tell they are not frozen.
Turamisu ~~~ “Best in Bath” by the owner,I love tiramisu and I always tend to have one after dining, and I couldn’t agree more, it is so well balanced with alcohol, it literally melted in my mouth this has to be the best seller on the menu, if not…it has to be
Thank you Kavi and Laco for your amazing service, especially on a Friday evening. We had a very good experience in your restaurant and we will definitely come back to have more amazing food xx hope you like the note that I left the other day ❣️ You deserve the praise xx
Our experience was most definitely 5-star and we’re so pleased we chose Antica for our anniversary dinner.
I do have to point out that there is a dish on the menu which is labelled “vegetarian” and it is not vegetarian, it has anchovy oil or something to do with anchovies; even if it is a small amount the dish cannot be labeled “Vegetarian” as it is completely misleading and also quite dangerous if there is a waiter who is maybe new and doesn’t know, this is also probably illegal to state something is vegetarian when it actually isn’t, and I saw in previous reviews that mislabeling has been brought up for some other dishes. We brought this up with the Antica team and were told that it will be removed.
As I live in Bath, I will make sure to check that this has actually been removed as it’s a good idea to get the menu edited ASAP to keep people safe and avoid a very expensive lawsuit for Antica if anything were to happen due to this mislabeling.
All in all amazing experience, and even with this menu thing, if 6 stars was an option I’d probably give 6 stars!
