Have been here many times, most during pandemic, but this latest visit we ate inside.
Service was good on a nice Saturday afternoon lunch.
The Thai iced tea is good. We ordered pan fried dumplings, pad Thai and drunken noodle. Each got a little salad that appeared to come with.
The food is good quality and if you ask, they make it spicy. The robot server is an interesting touch.
Overall a good Thai restaurant and well worth the time if you find yourself in or around Culpeper.
And nothing to do with the food, I found the urinal art in the men’s room highly amusing (see attached pic).

I love Thai cuisine and have eaten it in many parts of the U.S. Until now, my favorite was Thai Pepper in Houston, Texas. Thai Pinto in historic Culpeper, Virginia is now my favorite. Unfortunately, my wife and I were only visiting friends and family in the area since moving from VA to GA in 2021, so it may be years before we eat here again.
We started with chicken Tom Yom and mild shrimp coconut soups as appetizers. My entree was tofu in a red chili, spicy coconut sauce. My wife ordered chicken with cashew nuts. Everything was DELICIOUS!
The waiter and his robot assistant served everything hot and well-presented. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, this restaurant is well worth a visit.

This is a wonderful restaurant with the perfect combination of delicious food and fantastic service. Our server was very friendly and relaxed, and our meals were top-notch. We ordered from the lunch special and our food was perfect. I’ll definitely be going back whenever I’m in town.

We visited for lunch on a recent Thursday in October. The restaurant was busy, but we had no trouble getting a table right away. The menu is extensive with many pages of entrees, apps, noodle dishes, curry dishes, veg dishes, meat/poultry/fish/shrimp dishes, desserts, and drinks. Seating is available outside, too. The service was attentive and excellent. We opted for a noodle dish, a Thai fried rice dish, and a curry dish, all from the lunch menu. The curry dish was my favorite. The fried rice dish was good, but the chicken was a bit dry and was not too flavorful. The noodle dish was a bit lacking in broccoli. The included apps were great – a tasty chicken skewer, a nice spring roll, a wonderful wonton soup, and a crisp salad. Overall, a nice experience.

My drunken noodles were incredible. My wife’s food was bland at best, even after asking the hostess /server over and over for medium to Thai spicy.
Does that even look like green curry?? We won’t be going back or recommending this place.

I recently dined at Pinto Thai in Culpeper, Virginia, and it was an absolute delight! The coconut curry with vegetables was bursting with creamy, fragrant flavors, perfectly balancing the rich coconut milk with fresh, crisp veggies. The cashew curry with vegetables was equally impressive, with a savory-sweet depth and a satisfying crunch from the cashews. Both dishes were expertly spiced, showcasing the authentic Thai flavors that make Pinto Thai stand out.
What added a fun twist to the experience was their use of robot servers to deliver food from the kitchen to the table! It’s such a unique touch, blending modern technology with warm hospitality. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring everything ran smoothly. If you’re in Culpeper and craving delicious Thai cuisine with a side of innovation, Pinto Thai is a must-visit!

We drove from Fredericksburg. Well worth it. Great service and delicious food. Even the presentation shows that they care about what they are doing. Our favorite was the mango sticky rice. Which we were supposed to share. I’m getting my own next time.

This was mine and my son’s first Thai experience. The food was amazing and the prices were much more reasonable than I expected!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really nice. There was a table that was having a birthday and they sang happy birthday to the person. And they deliver food to the tables on robots!! That was SO cool!! We are definitely going back!! I only took one picture, but I’ll post it. %100 recommend this place!

On our way down to Shenandoah, my partner and I stopped here for a late dinner and we were blown away by how good this place was. The service was very friendly. While the restaurant was sold out, they were able to seat us in under 10 minutes. We had the calamari which was crispy and cooked perfectly. We were very surprised by the delicate Wonton soup which had an almost vinegary, tangy broth to it, which came with a heater to keep the broth warm. It was a great price point too! I had the Singapore noodles which was a healthy portion while she had the panang curry which had an amazing broth with perfectly cooked chicken. Definitely recommend!
