Fantastic food! Excellent bowls! Dive bar setting with loud music, pool tables. Table was sticky and service on the slow side. IDs checked for all- not just those drinking.

There’s much to say about this place- and though I don’t get to come in here often anymore, they deserve their flowers. Hannah the lead bartender is a machine at all times- with all of her regulars drink orders memorized. The night crew seems to have their stuff together too. I’m not familiar with all of the day crew but the cute short girl- Jamie I think- Shes awesome. Karaoke used to be my favorite thing to do on the weekend and Denise keeps things moving and always helps me key my songs down so I don’t squeak like a parakeet. The tav has a good thing going with their food menu too, and I often grab food to go, when I’m not wanting to cook. Amazing experiences often and they do a good job keeping the riff raff out. Solid team, good food and cold drinks. Everything you want in a local spot’

Dark lighting but cool atmosphere. Great food. The salads are very generous and delicious. Had the Cobb and the MexiCali at our table. Mound of fresh off the grill chicken, perfectly spiced. We had a steak bowl as well that was delicious I am told.

We called ahead and reserved a table (I recommend doing this), our server was new and very nice and attentive. I ordered the chicken fajita bowl, large portions, filling and full of flavor. We also ordered the BYOB burger, it was a standard burger and fry set up. Burger was handmade and bigger than the bun, seasoned well and the cheese was melted. Overall, better than a bar burger and better than a standard restaurant burger. Would definitely order it again. Also ordered the chicken tacos, the corn tortillas were spot on, the chicken was seasoned and juicy, would order this again and again! I would definitely recommend coming here for their food. The seating is pretty cozy in one area of the bar and a bit special near the pool table. They also offer daily food and drinks specials.

Our group (4) came in on a Saturday for lunch. I had been here before, once, and was just as impressed both times. This place is set up to be mostly suited for groups of 4 or less, although you could push tables together if needed. It is split into two sides, with the bar side with booths on the left and the pool table (1) side on the right, with both sides having dining tables.
We spent $20-$30 each because it was a weekend and we each had 2 drinks – one could spend $15-$20 per person if you came for lunch during the week.
This is a casual dive bar, maybe a step above, with an extensive food menu and really tasty food (both times). They also have quite a large offering of food and drink specials. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is clean, the staff is friendly, the beers are COLD, and the food DELICIOUS.
I had a custom burger with tater tots, the burger was huge and delicious. I thought the side was a dressing for the tots but it was the mayo I ordered for my burger fyi.
My Husband ordered the 3 Sweet Heat Sliders with onion rings which he downed in minutes. Our friends shared the Carnitas + Green Chili Nachos – after a while of both eating from the same plate it hardly looked like they had made a dent, because they do give you a fair amount of food, they do not cheat one on this. Needless to say they took half the plate home.
Our server Summer was super friendly and was quick to get our beers (they serve very cold beers, including delicious and locally-made Church Music IPA) and I also enjoyed a large and tasty Michelada. We had a wonderful lunch and I highly recommend the Tav.

Went in for a drink with fellow coworkers for a holiday party-
We were in 1/17/26 and ordered fries as the other half of our party was toward the dining area and participating in karaoke. (We sat by the pool tables). Our server was great, burnette with short hair. She got our drinks and food out in a timely manner and was very nice. It caught us by surprise though when we were approached by another employee (clear glasses shorter guy) telling us we were using drugs in the bathroom and needed to leave immediately. When we asked “who said that?” They told us they cannot disclose who was accusing us of doing something like this, and we needed to leave without closing our tab. We obviously left, and had to order a uber since our party was still inside. Safe to say this is NOT a place to ever put your money, time, or attention in to.
Not sure if they mistakenly thought it was a different person, however check your sources before accusing paying customers for doing something they DID NOT DO.

The hidden local gem
After many years passing by this spot, I would have never eaten here until my grandpa Melvin recommended me to do so. This place has a lot of history to it. They serve excellent food here. The onion rings are the best I’ve ever had & the arizona pattymelt was excellent also. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get. They have a pool table and other games. The inside is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly.
It is a little dark inside, but it’s not a big issue.
