I was a huge fan of Yoshinoya menus, but… now that I had it since a while ago, I don’t like it anymore. First of all, the to-go box is smaller. I used to eat 2 meals with 1 combination order, but this time, I almost finished it. Secondly, it has gotten more salty than before. Quality dropping = going out of business. No wonder. I won’t be returning again unless I go to the ones in Japan.
Goodbye, Yoshinoya.
Firstly, there is a persistent problem with obtaining extra ginger. I have been limited to two packets despite requesting more, and my attempts to even purchase additional quantities have been refused, which I find illogical.
Secondly, the staff at this location expresses frustration when customers use discount codes from your app, even though the app allows us to apply them at the restaurant. This creates an uncomfortable situation for customers.
Overall, the ladies working at this location have consistently been rude, contributing to a very negative experience, and they should be trained on customer service. I advise others to avoid this particular location. ⛔️
I have loved Yoshinoya since 1994 when I discovered it. I was surrounded by this brand until we moved out of Los Angeles. Now, it is a treat to find a store. You’ll just have to be weary of the reviews.
I observed while in this location. Employees were chatting with one another and when I walked in, I was not greeted, no one looked at me in the eyes… basically… I was ignored. I was looking up at the menu board when this guy asked, “how can I help you?”
I gave him my order: the COMBO XL, both BEEF. That person did not look at me, not a single time. There was no validation of my order.
I waited, standing 8ft away from the counter… for a good 10-12minutes, I believe. My order was done. The guy did not call it out… for the first time, he looked at me and motioned with the bagged dinner that I can now pick it up… without a smile, not even a thank you for patronizing their store.
*Sigh* It feels like your favorite food has been hijacked by poor service. I can say so because I worked at one national food chain while in college, and we were acutely trained in customer service for successful retention of patrons.
I pray the owner/franchisee of this location re-train it’s personnel.
