Stopped in today with a friend and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, well organized, and welcoming—a real credit to the whole team.
The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive. We especially appreciated Becky, who served us with such kindness, warmth, and professionalism. She took great care of us with fresh coffee and food, and her friendly conversation truly made the visit memorable. She really helps this place shine.
A big thank-you as well to the grill team and everyone working behind the scenes—the food was fresh, well prepared, and served efficiently, even with a steady flow of customers.
We were honestly impressed by the quality and value. Great food, great service, and very fair prices. This was absolutely worth the stop, and we’ll gladly be back.

It was a very pleasant experience. My family and I had a very efficient elderly lady waitress and made sure we had everything in a timely matter (ie: coffee , drinks, food, etc.) and all the food was excellent and very hot as should be… No complaints here…

Ordered double hash browns with onions and jalapeños and over well eggs….Received single plain hash browns and runny eggs. They don’t accept phone calls so don’t waste your time trying to rectify the situation. Complete waste of money!

It’s a Waffle House. It never has been advertised as a “5 star luxury dining facility”, however WH always provides value for cost and food prepared the way you want. Some servers are better than others, but that’s the nature of individuals. This visit was good service, good food, hot coffee and a reasonable price.

Good parking, clean, menu as expected – everything one would want from Waffle House on Tunnel Road in Asheville. The waitress who looked after us was perhaps one of Waffle house’s longest serving staff and knew a trick or two – she even gave us a Waffle house chef’s hat on hearing I was visiting from the UK. Job done, and done well.
