This was my 1st order with Mrs. Mary and her team. I ordered the spicy seafood bowl. It was so good, not as spicy as I thought it would be, but the flavor and seafood made up for that. I could eat it everyday. I had the meal delivered through Door Dash, it was sealed so tightly. The packaging is so pretty in color and the inside keeps the food hot. If you haven’t had this food you’re missing out.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE VERY DISAPPOINTED! Today is 1/13/25 @ 3pm
I’ve been looking for a new place to eat and heard about Mary’s Twisted Kitchen. I ordered Twisted Pack and Smashed bowl. The twisted pack consist of two pork chops and fries. The pork chops had absolutely no flavor! The were very thick and great size but tasted like flour and grease. For $17 it was a waste. Now the biggest disappointment was the Smashed Bowl it consist of half pasta and half baked potatoes with shrimp and Salmon. The salmon was big size but very overcooked. The salmon was dry, overcooked, lack seasoning. The pasta was creamy but also needed flavor. I spent $28 for burned, overcook salmon with a creamy pasta with no taste. I am beyond disappointed. I try to support black businesses and share great feedback but quality control is needed. If u see the salmon is over cooked then don’t put it on the plate. There was toast given on the pork chop plate it was even burnt. For almost $50 I expect quality food. That’s not overcooked or burnt or just not seasoned. The pork chop could have been a star meal but u have to seasoned the pork chop. When I tell u, all you taste is flour and grease. Highly disappointed on top of that I drove 35min to get bare minimum efforts.

Came in from out of town (2/28/26) because I seen it on TikTok, let’s just say TikTok failed me this time. The owner was nice but the older lady with Afro puff was very RUDE. My boyfriend and I waited over 45 minutes before we got over food . I understand they have to make the food fresh but they assured us it’ll only be 10-15 minutes.I’m very disappointed, because I love my black owned business. They have to step it up when it comes to how they treat the customers and getting food out in a timely manner.

Mary’s Twisted Kitchen did NOT come to play!!

I tried the Chicken & Sausage Spicy Bowl and the Seafood Spicy Bowl, and baby when I tell you the flavor was FLAVORING!!! Everything was seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of heat — spicy but still letting you taste every ingredient.

The chicken and sausage bowl was hearty, bold, and comforting, and the seafood bowl was loaded and fresh with a kick that had me going back for another bite every time. You can tell it’s made with love and real skill in that kitchen.

If you like big flavor, good portions, and food that actually satisfies, you NEED to pull up on Mary’s Twisted Kitchen ASAP. I’ll definitely be back!!

We tried Mary’s Kitchen, which recently merged with House of Hibachi, over in Singing Hills today. I ordered the Smash Bowl to go ( half potato / half pasta with blackened salmon & shrimp, topped with my choice of Mardi Gras or Alfredo sauce).

Let’s just say, I won’t be wasting anyone else’s money. I loved the concept, but so much went wrong with this order. The mashed potatoes were overcooked and watery more like soup. The shrimp looked great in size (jumbo), but they were either overcooked or undercooked, and the taste was just off. Now, the salmon… easily one of the worst I’ve had. It tasted low quality, possibly frozen before cooking, and completely lacked flavor. I couldn’t even finish half of it. Honestly, it didn’t even taste like salmon. To top it off, I couldn’t tell which sauce was used definitely didn’t taste like Alfredo, so I’m assuming it was Mardi Gras.

On a positive note, the Twisted Sipper was a hit! They offer Hennessy or Casamigos options, and if you sip too much, you’re as good as stuck. It’s a little pricey, but that’s expected for to-go cocktails.

I ordered the spicy bowl! They told me a 20min wait, 35 min later still no spicy bowl. Went back to the window waited 5 more minutes. I got home was so disappointed I got one piece of sausage three pieces of shrimp a few pieces of shredded chicken and 1000 jalapeño peppers. A waste of time and money! Definitely don’t go hungry!

Don’t let the location fool you, this place is incredible for takeout. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I had the chicken potato with Mardi gras sauce, butter pecan cake, and cool-aid and it was delicious.

I have been going to Marys Twisted Kitchen since they were running out of their home during the pandemic; so I like to think from the beginning. They then moved to serving out of their food truck parked at the gas station and local festivals/events. When they got their brick and mortar location I was so excited for them as a customer watching from afar a long time dream become realized. That speaks to the loyalty. The customer service has always been 5 star. If they happen to make a mistake Ms Mary is gonna get it right for you. I love the food, chefs kiss: impeccable. I usually get the seafood pasta with mardi gras sauce. Surprised they dont got my order by heart by now. Beyond that, the way that Marys Kitchen gives back to the community is just commendable with her backpack giveaways, free lunch for kids in summer, $10 specials, etc. She is a true gem to the Singing Hills and Oak Cliff community and I will remain a customer. I also live so close they can’t get rid of me.

This place was amazing. I had the chicken and seafood pasta, twisted koolaid, and pound cake. The wait wasn’t long and the food was very flavorful. I will definitely visit again.
