Had the Prosciutto wrapped blue cheese dates for a starter. It was a nice blend of tasted We also had the BBQ Chicken Pizza, Shrimp Francaise and the Linguine in clam sauce. The Shrimp dish was delicious and had a generous amount of shrimp. The linguini in clam sauce was good as well and the white sauce was fresh, not heavy, with just enough garlic. Pizza was good. It was loaded with cheese, an ample amount of chunked chicken, and light coat of BBQ sauce.

Wow! Still a favorite! I’ve been coming here for years and even after moving down south, this place never lost its magic. I recently made my way back and after all this time, it’s still the same owner, the same friendly staff, and the same GREAT food. That kind of consistency is rare. I highly recommend this place and will absolutely be back whenever I’m in town again!

My family is from up north and found this treasure! Stopped on the way to the beach and had a great lunch special for only 9 dollars includes 2 slices a drink and a garlic knot….
We enjoyed it so much we made reservations for dinner that evening. We had great service and had a pizza for an appetizer (which was even better right out of the oven) with some entrees. They had a baked eggplant special which was out of this world and I still can’t get over how delicious their sauce is! I will be back with my family and referring to my fellow northerners that visit here!

I have been going to carmellas for years and it is always great whether you are picking up or dining in. Pizza is always fantastic…and huge! I also love the pasta dishes. The portions are large so the value is great. Staff are always friendly -just be patient if a busy time of day. Bartender is always friendly with good pours.

We went to Carmela’s for dinner last night. We sat at the Bar which we love to do. Everyone was so friendly. Great way to meet new people. Stevie was our bartender and she was so professional yet made us feel right at home. We had a great goat cheese salad and an order of calamari. Then we had a lasagna which was so delicious, and eggplant Joelle, that I loved. We look forward to our next night out so we can go back! See you soon

Ordered a large grandmother’s pizza for takeout and we both really enjoyed it – 5 stars. Pickup was efficient although not overly friendly for this part of Florida, where business owners and employees generally tend to be a bit warmer with their customers – 3 stars. Did not dine in but atmosphere seemed fine with plenty of parking available – 3 stars. Overall, can definitely recommend for food quality and take away efficiency – will return.

We were so excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately were extremely let down. Between the service and food, I’m not sure what was most disappointing. When walking in the host greeted us with “Can I help you?” and seemed very annoyed to have us there. After sitting down and ordering some drinks the waitress said, “I need your ID.” Not “Can I see your ID?”, no please. At this point we’re a bit annoyed but it keeps getting worse when we hear the same waitress arguing with other staff members.
Our drinks took a while to come out, to the point where other staff came to check on us. At this point we decided we would just get an appetizer to try the food and leave. When we got our meatballs they were hot but the sauce was ice cold. Upon eating the meatball there was a large chunk of “bread” in the meatball. At least we were told it was bread… it did not look like bread. Very disappointed for a place we were so excited to try.

Excellent lobster ravioli and 2 slices of pizza for my husband made the perfect dinner for 2 Europeans. One of the better pastas I’ve ever had … Lovely Pinot Grigio housewine ! And the recommended cheese cake didn’t disappoint
