I’ve been eating Cuban sandwiches my whole life. I even worked in Hialeah for 25 years so I KNOW good Cuban sandwiches.
I have NEVER had a Cuban sandwich like the one’s served at Los Paisanos! The flavors of the sandwich all explode in your mouth at once and it’s a great experience. As I’m waiting for my sandwich I’m looking at the other food offered for sale, making a mental list of what else to get next time I stop in for my next Cuban sandwich. Beautiful shrimp, fresh gorgeous meats and rice and vegetables, that’s going to make my addiction even worse! Next time it’s gonna be the San and some of their beautiful shrimp!
I found out about this place at my nieces baby shower about a month ago. There was lots of different food there and I and opened a container containing a Paisanos Cuban sandwich and smelled that amazing thing and chose it instead of a pizza slice. It was the Best decision I could have made!
That was the beginning of my addiction. I couldn’t believe how good it was! I wanted MORE But my niece took home the leftover sandwiches and I was unsuccessful at wrestling any away from her but I knew I had to have MORE! So I asked her where they were from, she told me, and now here I sit, saving the second half of my San that I saved for tomorrow but I hear it calling me from the fridge. Hours after eating the first half my body is begging for more.
I guess my message is that not all addictions are bad (right?).
And if you want the BEST Latin food around, don’t drive to Hialeah, drive to Los Paisanos and see what I mean. There are two in Davie, right off 595. It Is under 10$ and SO worth it.
The ladies behind the counter were all smiles and respectful and happy to talk about their food too. Everyone working there were friendly and professional. I had to ask them how is their food so good?
And they told me, it’s fresh cooked every day and I believe it. These folks know what they’re doing! Need catering? Or a quick sandwich that’s going to make your stomach feel really happy? Or you want to surprise your family with quality Latin food, Try them. I’m not trying to advertise for them. I’m sharing helpful information with people like me who LOVE delicious food!
Try their food, but remember, once you try it you’ll have to have MORE and MORE!

Love the food, it is always fresh and tastes great. The prices have climbed significantly over the past couple of years but it is still affordable but I go here a lot less frequently now and chose to go to other takeout restaurants that are a little more reasonably priced. The plates are large but over $18 (carne asada, rice and beans and fried plantains) which is a bit much for takeout.

I know I left a review for this place before and many years ago I guess Google wants an update so I don’t have any photos unfortunately but this is a Spanish cafeteria with great food a bunch of locals eat here all the time and gather food to go. If you’re doing construction or any kind of Labor work it’s the best place to stop by cuz they have tables that you can sit on the side and just eat and throw your food in the trash and be on your way. The food is absolutely delicious.

Amazing food! My wife told me about this place and we’ve been wanting to try it. Finally did and we were not disappointed. They give you a lot of food for the price and the flavors are so good. We got a side of the chicharrones, which didn’t make it home, lol. Seriously so good. We have enough for dinner tomorrow also. Pictures are after we already ate some.

10.1.25 – I had one smoked pork chop with the veggie egg scramble. OMG!!! It was amazing! This was my first visit, but not my last. I also had a cafe con leche Grande. I love this place!
