Stopped in for lunch at Los Agaves. The food was fine—pretty average overall. Nothing stood out as bad, but nothing really wowed me either. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice for a casual lunch spot. Solid option if you’re looking for a quick Mexican meal, but I wouldn’t say it was memorable.

The queso dip is excellent. The salsa fresh is most certainly “Indiana Mexican,” which is a far cry from “Texas Mexican,” but waaaay better than “South Dakota or Minnesota Mexican— so it’s super safe for kids mouths.” I’d prefer more heat, not Hot, just more ‘warm flavor. The chips are fine, but I think the portions could be a little bigger to finish either sauce; the ratio there is a little off.
If I order again, it will be for my children. I’ll stick with the main dishes. 🙂

Had a great first experience at Los Agaves! The food and the ambience is amazing, our waiter Jesús was a wonderful host and gave us a good tour of the menu. The Ribeye Tacos and the Tacos Pastor are a must try’s for sure. We look forward to coming back!

I will say all of the staff are incredibly nice and their adult beverages are good but the food is very under seasoned and over priced for what you get. I definitely wouldn’t consider it authentic Mexican food or recommend it to family or friends. They also used white rice for their chicken and rice dish.

Very enjoyable dinner experience at Los Agaves, topped off with a generous serving of Margarita. Our server, Raine, was “right on” in his timing and dinner support. Our meals came surprisingly quickly, probably less than 10 minutes after we ordered. I had the burrito with a perfect array of Mexican side dishes. Looking forward to a return visit on one of our next trips to Indy.

Again, as a DoorDash driver, I have the unique ability to visit so many restaurants and experience their customer service as well as their disservice…Los Agaves is top notch and their staff is amazingly nice and this is huge especially coming from a driver and most restaurants treat them badly…so if they can treat drivers with grace and respect then I know they take care of dine in customers.
Definitely check this place out whether it be dining in or ordering from DoorDash. Maybe you’ll get me to deliver.

I expected the restaurant to be a basic restaurant. Nothing to crazy, I was dead wrong. I walked in and immediately noticed the environment was very elevated! The service was outstanding, we had one main waiter, but had multiple come around to check on us throughout the night, which made us feel like they all genuinely cared about our experience. The food was very tasty and I will definitely be coming back very soon!!

We came in here for diner the other night and will not be back. We had so many food, service issues. This food is more americanized than mexican. This was our first time and last time here. The atmosphere is nice but thats it. Dont reccomend.

Excellent, food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. This restaurant is a fully authentic Mexican experience. The chips and salsa are top notch, all the food I saw coming out looked fresh, and delicious. I had the Fajitas w/steak; it came out sizzling, and tender along with fresh guac, & veggies. My wife had the Carne Asada steak. That was one of the most tender, and buttery steaks we’ve ever had, along with excellent pico, rice, beans, cactus, and avocado. I recommend this Mexican grill above any other I’ve been to. Will definitely be back!

Juana was our waitress and she was very attentive. Its a laid back restaurant with lower lighting and great food. They actually have a spicy salsa which is hard to find ❤️❤️
