We had a very nice dinner here – my Ribollita was so tasty and the salad fresh and lovely as well. It was the perfect meal for a rainy February night after overeating pasta and pizza during the day as one does on vacation in Italy. Staff was very friendly and professional in checking my allergies. If you don’t have a reservation, try going before 19:30 as it filled up quickly closer to 20:00.

a truly homemade restaurant.
I went for the simple things. Tuscan soup, some cheese, and Tiramisu to close. all superb, all homemade (not the cheese). with a glass of wine it was 30euro. worth the visit.

Really nice experience as a solo traveler. The woman upfront was ready and really nice to speak to, with recommendations included.
The food itself was amazing and I would love to go back again.

Pappardelle al cinghiale (homemade pasta with wild boar sauce) was really delicious. Service was great and the food was ready before i even knew it! Would definietly recommend this place!

The garlic tomato pasta here is honestly the most unique and delicious dish I’ve had during my entire trip in Italy! Unlike the typical tomato pastas I’ve tried elsewhere, this one stands out with its fresh garlic and rich tomato flavor—it’s a perfect combination! Both my mom and I absolutely loved it. We also tried the tomato stewed tripe, which was good, but not as impressive as the pasta. I highly recommend trying their garlic tomato pasta—it’s a truly delightful surprise!

We had a lovely lunch here. We ordered the crostini misti as an antipasti. It came with four pieces: one topped with chicken liver pate, another with some kind of sausage/chorizo, and two bruschetta.
We had the fried artichoke hearts, beef stew, pappa al pomodoro soup, and two other dishes I can’t recall. The beef stew was the highlight!
We had semifreddo and tiramisu for dinner, and they were both delicious. I especially loved the variety of textures in the semifreddo (crunchy toffee bits and pistachio, frozen and creamy custard, and smooth chocolate sauce). The tiramisu had a wonderful custard and a great ratio between custard and ladyfingers.

I know this restaurant is in a very touristy area, but don’t let that fool you. The food here is absolutely delicious, the prices are crazy good and service is quick.
I had the pleasure of having the BEST pasta dish i had in Florence here, Pappardelle al cinghiale. I can’t recommend it enough. Fresh, hearty, traditional and authentic.
Definitely give it a try.

The food was a complete disaster! Overloaded with seasoning and the pasta felt undercooked. What’s even worse was the service. I’m not sure if it was discrimination against foreigners, but while other tables received complimentary bread and attentive service, we were ignored even though we arrived earlier. The staff refused to speak English and one of them was still talking on the phone while handling our payment. It’s very rude and disrespectful. For a restaurant located so close to the train station, this experience really damages the image of Florence for tourists. This was the only restaurant in Florence where I encountered such terrible service!

The food was mid nothing special.
However, if you are not Italian or Italian speaking, don’t hospitality from the servers. They are very rude no matter how polite you are, it’s just not worth wasting your time here especially since there are a lot of other options in this very busy area
