Their Super Deluxe Burrito (carne asada every time for me) is a Saturday ritual I genuinely look forward to all week. The burrito is massive, flavorful, and just perfect—especially when it comes with that ice-cold horchata they serve with the specials. And don’t sleep on their tamarind drink, either. Absolute gem.
From the moment you sit down, they hit you with warm, crispy chips and a salsa that’s spicy, tangy, and ridiculously addicting. I could make a meal out of just that. But why stop there?
Service is always fast and friendly—I’ve never waited more than a minute for a table—and they’ve usually got sports or some kind of game on, which gives the place a laid-back, local vibe I really appreciate.
Every bite tastes like someone back there actually cares. That’s rare these days.
Whether you’re new to town or think you’ve already found your favorite taco or burrito spot, give El Tarasco a shot. It might just ruin every other place for you.
Anyways, I almost vomited on the spot when I tasted the potatoes inside the taco. It’s like they sat soaked in a pan on the grill, it was like a metallic, fat, grill flavor, that I have never smelled nor tasted in my life. It wasn’t just the taste, it was the smell of them that was so offensive.
I didn’t ask for a refund, but I let the server know. He agreed that something was wrong with them, he didn’t really say anything else. I’m doubting that the kitchen staff was informed they were so gross.
I don’t recommend eating at this location, ever. I’m so grossed out even right now thinking about it. Two stars is generous, but the chips and salsa were good (before my meal arrived).
Very nice people w great customer service. The house salsa is very tasty and pairs well w their house tostaditas(thin and crunchy).
The place is small and the atmosphere as expected but very chill.
The burrito was a nice tho I will probably explore the menu more next time.
I had 3 tostadas left that I wanted to bring home. They not only help me out with a paper bag but they hooked me up with a few more tostadas. Tyv kindly
