I have lived here almost 9 yrs. Been to every restraunt. I have 2 favorites and Plaza is hands down THE BEST RESTRAUNT ( besides Olive Garden.. unfortunately there is not one here ) I have ever had the PRIVILAGE of sitting in their booths.
The customer service from when you walk in to even AFTER the bill is paid.. is top notch. Most could learn from them. The amount of food and drink is so worth the price, the quality… WOW.. I could go on forever bragging. Remember when Chinese food would leave you wanting more?
NOW it’s PLAZA MEXICANA.
They could put others out of business.

The food was good. The portion sizes are huge as are the prices. Inside the decor is very festive. The menu includes authentic, Mexican food, drinks, appetizers, seafood and dessert. If you have a big party, the seating may be a challenge the largest table seats six people. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were there for lunch and had no issues getting a table. The restaurant is easy to get to and there is plenty free parking behind the building.

Dang, this place is so authentic, I thought Ice was gonna raid the joint at any minute. I recommend chimichangas and the wife early enjoy the enchiladas. If you’re ever in Vernal and hungry for some good Mexican food, seek them out for sure.

What an absolutely charming place to celebrate another birthday. The decor was a visual delight & the steak fajita salad was the best I’ve had in a long time. Thanks to all the staff who made this a very special day.

Best mole EVER!! Butter garlic shrimp was also outstanding. Service was fast, atmosphere was colorful and clean. Prices are competitive. Not overly salty. Portions are huge. We will definitely be coming back.

Man this spot is fantastic for authentic Mexican food, once you step in side it feels like you have been transported to mexico! The food was so tasty and filling! I left stuffed! The margaritas hit. Highly recommend, one downfall is the prices are a little steep. But again that quality and portions were great!

Visiting in town for a wedding, this restaurant can highly rated so let’s give it a try. 4 of us on a Friday night were able to walk in and get a table.
Chips and salsa were delivered right away. The salsa was too spicy for one of us and they actually made a milder version for her. We then ordered a round of expensive house margaritas and some guacamole. It took a while to get the guac as were getting filled on the chips and salsa. It finally arrived and it was large and delicious. Interesting as it came in very large chunks and we had to mash it up but still delicious.
Our meal’s finally arrived on large HOT plates. We were mostly full from the chips but that wasn’t going to stop us from at least starting. Food was hot, tasty and large portions. 3 Togo containers were required.
Small location that has a capacity of 66 and tables no larger the 4 people. Not sure a large party would work here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. This was by far the most expensive Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to.

Wonderfully authentic Mexican restaurant, fantastic service, and cozy environment. Although the serving sizes are outrageously huge (one lady’s plate was seriously 18-24 inches in diameter), and the prices match the amount of food you get (seemingly exorbitant), the food was delicious, and the servers were friendly, and we had an enjoyable meal. I was able to choose a smaller item which was more equitably priced and something I could actually each in a setting.

Despite being an incredibly busy restaurant service was really good. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. Fairly large portions although the prices were fairly high as well. Because of the volume of people, it was fairly noisy.
