I tried Fatback’s Barbecue for the first time today (Wednesday at 1pm) It has a small eat in dining area with 6 tables that seat four people, highchairs are available. I love the decor (see attached pictures) The service was fast and friendly, and the food delicious The chopped brisket was moist and seasoned lightly, the potatoes were a one of a kind experience that I am happy to repeat. I love country green beans and these are my favorite. I’m so glad I found this place.

Definitely order pulled pork, brisket and pork pop. Warm & sweet sauce was great as well as the Hot. DO NOT SKIP the roasted potatoes on the side. Potato salad and green beans were very good. I took a picture after eating..smelled so good and had to eat first.

Best BBQ I’ve had in 15 years, hands down. Their Warm & Sweet sauce is perfect. The side dishes are amazing. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. About 25 seats in the place, 4 seats to a table. You can also get it to go, but then you won’t have time to admire all the art on the walls. The service is so fast most of my group wasn’t seated before they were bringing them their lunch. Staff is very friendly and seem to love their jobs. This place is the real deal, Mom&Pop kinda place.

Finally got a chance to try this place out. Thank the lord I did!!! Straight mom and pop vibes!!! I ordered the chopped pork (sold out of ribs)with Mac&cheese and the potatoes, my son ordered brisket with the potatoes. Food came out fast and hot. You know I had to taste test my sons!!! Anyways meat was tender, juicy and seasoned by a pro. The potatoes were soft like my pillow and seasoned to the max!!! The sauces were perfect pair ( I tried sweet and the warm and sweet) 10/10 recommend.

About 6-8 tables in a comfy but not crowded joint, great atmosphere, very friendly folks.

We stopped in and ordered the full rack of ribs with a pig pop, cornbread, coleslaw, and a slice of American cheese — every bite was absolutely delicious. The ribs were tender and packed with flavor, and that pig pop was a fun (and tasty) surprise. My old lady got the pulled chicken sandwich with green beans and potatoes, and she was blown away by how good everything tasted.
The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they care about what they’re doing in that kitchen. And to top it off, the staff was super friendly and welcoming — made the whole experience even better.
Hands down one of the best BBQ spots in Dayton. We’ll definitely be back!
