I don’t review a lot- but I don’t have enough good words for how much we absolutely enjoyed ourselves here 🙂 after a long weekend of fishing and hiking, we went to double horn for an early Sunday dinner before heading back home to Austin.
That food, yall. It’s so amazing. We had a big breakfast before hiking, so chose to split a cowboy burger with loaded mac and grilled green beans. It all was so fresh, burger cooked insanely perfect I wish I could make them that good at home, those green beans with perfectly cooked onions- loaded Mac was seriously outta control. My darling couldn’t stop talking about how good that jalapeno bun was. High high quality ingredients all around
Service was top notch, I mean yeah food took a little while, but we were so relaxed with how everything was it didn’t matter, also it takes a little time to make food that damn good. Vibe was so comfy and inviting, beers were amazing – highly recommend the beans brown ale on a cold evening <3
Overall- I am going to tell everyone I know that yall have a must visit location, and we can’t wait to visit again 🙂

This is starting to be a regular lunch and dinner pick for us. I love the unique menu. My husband and I have gotten a different entree every time we’ve been here and I have been nothing short of impressed! This time I got the Southwest toaster after trying and absolutely loving the fried green tomatoes last time. Would definitely get it again! The beans brown ale was amazing with this too.

Chicken fried steak and fish and chips were delicious. Crisp and well seasoned. Green beans and boursin mashers. Wings and Mac for the kid. Lex was a very attentive server. Beer was shot on of course.

I got the Cowboy Smash burger and it was one of the BEST burgers I’ve had hands-down with a side of beer-battered onion rings, also just as good.
As for my beverage, I tried their watermelon beer and it was equally as impressive. I’m not a beer type of gal but that drink tasted so good and was so smooth. Definitely going back for that drink again!

Though the we loved the meal, the wait time after we ordered was a little excessive. Service was great and environment was interesting. Only suggestion is the sticky tables; change the cleaner or sand them down & refinish

Went back out to Marble Falls (grew up there) for some things and needed a place to eat dinner. Google popped up this place and husband was excited for the fish and chips so we went with it. Not disappointed at all. The Hippie Fries were different and delicious (no pictures, they got inhaled) and the buffalo sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had. Dad and husband got the fish and chips – pretty sure they forgot portion sizes and gave each an entire fish market – and I got the South Congress chicken sandwich with fried okra. While the fish could have been cut smaller to get a better overall fry, it was flaky, tender, and hit the spot. I cheated and added more buffalo sauce to my sandwich and was in nom nom heaven. Will come back especially in summer when white beers are on the menu

Just finished dinner here with my wife. I had the fish filet w/fries and mac and my wife got the Big Popper w/onion rings, plus we enjoyed a flight of beer. I can honestly say that our food was extremely well prepared. Our beers were excellent especially the watermelon one. Unfortunately we don’t remember our servers name, however she provided us with outstanding service and made us feel like she really cared about us. We also allowed her to pick our flight for us, for which she did a fantastic job. While we are only here for the weekend I can promise that this will be a place on our agenda everytime we visit Marble Falls.
