I stopped by Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar in Allison Park for the by one sandwich and get a second sandwich for just .2¢ promotion. The restaurant was extremely busy and a bit dishevelled. Customers were sort of standing around everywhere with no direction. So, other customers would come in and attempt to skip the line because they did particularly know that people were waiting to put their name in with the greeter. I opted to just go to the bar area. The bartending ladies were phenomenal! They stayed on top of drink refills and orders for the restaurant. Prices were great because of the promotion. My appetizer of nacho came out quickly but the cheese on top was borderline cold. I didn’t make a fuss because even with the cold cheese…the nachos were delicious! The kitchen was overly backed up after that because I waited about an hour for just two sandwiches. The food was very good and it would probably be way better when the restaurant is not so busy!

The side salad was perfect. The fries with steak was lacking. It was pieces if hamber left on the grill and not steak. The service was outstanding and the drinks at happy hour were made right.

We ordered take out as we were staying at a motel down the road. I got the 1/4 cheeseburger w/fries and frankly it was mediocre at best. The burger was dry and just tasted not even like fresh hamburger. It was reminiscent of those disgusting frozen hockey pucks you buy at a grocery store and the fries were limp soggy and sad. We also got the boneless honey mustard wings which were okay, nothing special. My daughter got the steak and cheese which she enjoyed. Overall this is probably the third (location) Primanti I’ve tried and they all have been pretty disappointing in my opinion.

It’s a great place to visit with family, including senior citizens and young kids. We were there last week with our children and senior parents.

I like to get their Italian crostini’s , this time it was very good but, all I tasted was oregano in every bite. Not bad but not great. I don’t care for oragano and this was the first time in all the times I ordered that I tasted it. The wings, dry , over cooked and burnt. No flavor. The only primantis so far that I’ve gotten the best wings was from Steubenville pike all others forget it . I being nice for giving them a three star. Every primanti is different , no consistency’s

Used the app for curbside pickup. Had the sandwich un-assembled. Food ready when promised and server came to car to drop off the bag. All quick and easy, got home, assembled and wow it was so good. Same quality as eating at the restaurant, they know what they are doing. No loss in great quality or taste. Try it for yourself.
