I know you can’t throw a rock without hitting a wannabe micro brewery in the NW.
And frankly since returning to my beloved NW, besides the terrible politics the oversaturation of these has been disappointing.
THIS place is an exception. It feels comfortable when you walk in and the vibe feels natural and a nice combo of classic and newer NW.
The staff is friendly and accommodating and helpful. Their brews are very good and they actually have a great tasting heffewizen. We haven’t had that since Pyramid ale.
Now the menu. You could expect standard pub fair but this place says, NOPE. We are going to make it look like a pub kinda menu but we’re going to add great twists and upscale many of these items and make em tasty as hell. Not many pubs or places I want to stay too long at but I could hang at this place and easily lose track of time. Great MW hang in the town of Battle ground. Who knew

The heat convinced me to go out last night. We chose Barrel Mountain Brewing.. I’ve been there several times and it is consistently great food! I ordered wild mushroom ravioli and it was phenomenal! My husband’s steelhead fish and chips was also outstanding. This is a small restaurant so you may have a short wait. Our server was flying around trying to accommodate everyone. She did a really good job at it!! They only serve wine and beer here.. the pinot I had was cold and crisp.. it tasted so good with the high temperatures outside. Their menu is unique and every dish a temptation. There is parking on the street and parking behind the restaurant.. I just discovered the parking in the back.. so that’s a plus!
Go and check out Barrel Mountain Brewing it really is outstanding!!

The food was absolutely excellent. It was fairly busy when we got there but didn’t have to wait too long for a table. The service was outstanding. They were completely out of ciders and kombucha options, but the root beer and the amber ale that my boyfriend got was delicious. I would absolutely go back just for the stinky rose fries. I could not stop eating those. And the steak and cheese sandwich melted in my mouth. The elk burger was excellent as well. I can’t wait to go back.

We love Barrel Mountain Brewing beers, so it’s been on our bucket list to visit the home of “No Bad Days” For a few years. We finally made it out and it was a unique experience. The decor is Grandpa’s shed in the most endearing way – fishing poles, bike parts, and awards galore. The traditional wings were decent flavor and great meat but a little wet. The special flavor was Bloody Mary, and we love the drinks so we were excited, and they were disappointing. They were very soggy, with a think texture. The garlic rosemary fries were excellent! We’d absolutely cone again, the table next us had a BLT and a burger that looked and smelled amazing.

I visited this place for the first time. I just wanted to take a break from the daily grind and drink something cold) I definitely highly recommend you visit this place! Delicious cold beer, cold cider and delicious snacks will not leave you indifferent The portions here are generous and delicious. We ordered barbecue wings to go with the beer. These are some of the most delicious wings Visit this place and you will want to come here again

After hearing lots of people talk about the food here, we gave it a try. Some dishes were a hit, others were mid. Everything seemed to have garlic in or on it. I personally don’t care for garlic so I went with the nachos as it seemed like a safe bet, but something in the nachos was very garlicky. Maybe I should have looked closer at the menu but have never had or heard of garlic nachos. Everyone else in our party ate most of their food, but the general consensus was that it was good, but not great. Even with the good service. We may or may not come back again.

Left red robin in BG after a complete lack of service, decided to hit up barrel mountain brewing for some type of sandwich. Service was wonderful, we were immediately helped and had multiple check ins. Blt’s took WAY too long to wait for; around thirty to forty minutes. Fries were hard sticks and I interpreted the “stinky fries” as simply garlic fries: they are not. They are smothered in blue cheese as well, so if you aren’t a fan of the flavor of mold, steer clear of the stinky fries. Moving forward I will know to not bank on a breweries food to be spectacular. The ambiance was incredible, the beer is award winning, and the service is lovely. If you’re even slightly picky/have a preference, again, don’t eat at breweries. Enjoy the beer and ambiance instead.

We had 2 Prarie Burgers and shared “stinky fries” and 2 Cokes. Everything was really good. They had gluten free buns which I appreciate. It was a little expensive coming to over $70 with a 20%tip, but the food, atmosphere service were great.

Went there for the first time. THE BUFFALO WINGS were so good!!! Best I’ve had in a very long time. Husband had nachos and they came on a platter, they were huge and also tasty. Very chill and comfortable. Great beer! We will be back.
