My oldest daughter and I needed somewhere to get breakfast while my youngest daughter was getting her hair done. My hairdresser recommended this place & im glad she did as I knew nothing about where to stop for food. I enjoyed this place. My server she was a sweet heart, great service, delicious food & a nice cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

Our first time here, looking for a local spot nearby to try for breakfast and this place did not disappoint.
The place doesn’t look like much on the outside but the atmosphere was great inside. Clean, modern and inviting. You seat yourself so no need to wait to be seated.
Food was great and we didn’t have to wait very long. Their country friend steak was amazing, pancakes were fluffy, coffee was great.
I hate when I’m so hungry I forget to take pictures of my food.
I highly recommend this place!

The food was very good. The country fried steak was done well and the hash was good. I was expecting something different when it said homemade corned beef hash. But it more closely resembles what you would get in a can.. which I had no problems with and was delicious nonetheless. (Still tasted homemade).

First off, this restaurant is not built for accommodating wheelchair bound, so be aware. Otherwise one you make it up a few steps into Gus’s, you are welcomed with warmth and hospitality. It’s a quaint tight squeeze but the food is quick and delicious. You certainly won’t leave disappointed. The waitress’s are wonderful and super attentive. Be careful with the syrup bottle, they’re scalding hot! Otherwise, we would definitely plan on revisiting our next time in town. Oh and the bathrooms… are very tight. Sink is shared in a narrow hallway. Definitely a restroom with character and challenge.

This was a first time for me going here. If I ever go back to Cleveland I will definitely try to go back. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was amazing. My son had the breakfast burrito and I had the meat lovers omelet. The food is prepared pretty much right in front of you. It’s an old school diner type setting. I loved it! I would recommend going here for sure.
