Don’t judge a book by its cover! The exterior of this restaurant may look unremarkable, but once you’re inside you’ll find a hidden gem. The food was authentic and delicious. The mango margarita was the best ever, it was made from real mangoes and not a mix. The fish was moist and flavorful and the fajitas were tasty also. On top of that, the portions were big and the prices were very reasonable. We are looking forward to going back!

El Charrito is a muy bueno spot for Mexican food! I have always enjoyed my visits there every time. The service is great and the food as well. They serve menudo every day, which is rare, so whenever you feel that itch … scratch it here. Gracias, El Charrito for being my go to spot for menudo…I recommend the red!

We’ve never been here before. My Hubby had issues with asking for our order. The woman did not speak any English. We were looking for good Mexican Food to take to my mother’s for dinner. The food tasted authentic. The taco shells should be made like most Mexican Restaurants make them because they just broke in half, and were a bit soggy. The Chile Relleno, rice and beans were very good. As was the enchilada, chips and salsa. The red tamale was somewhat dry, but it was the end of the day though.
We plan to go back again for lunch, and try a few of their other items.

Me and the family were visiting from out of town to see the football game. We found this location on Google Maps. It has limited parking. I ordered the 3 taco plate. The meat was seasoned perfectly the meat was very tender. The beans were creamy. The family really enjoyed their plates as well. Next time we are in town, we are definitely going to stop and have another great meal. I would totally recommend El Charrito

The Red Chili Beef plate is amazing for lunch or dinner. Throw a couple of over medium eggs on it and it becomes a very delicious breakfast.

Man. I’m from Yuma and can’t ever find a good Mexican food restaurant. And this place was it. I loved this place. I don’t care for beans much so I ordered substitute for more rice. And I wish I hadn’t. The beans are so good and creamy. Everything was excellent. Son loved his chile rellenos. Chimichanga was big and good. The one thing I do wish, is the tacos. The meat is excellent but the juice from the shredded beef made the tacos start getting soggy a little. So I wish the shells were more authentic and more homemade like. Otherwise I am 100% please and would love to try other items next time.

The food was cold had flavor however the cold food ruined our meal and outing. It took over 15 min for our waitress to come check on us and it wasn’t even busy only had 3 tables with people so no excuse not to check on us. Asked for a discount as we lost our appetite due to cold food. We might have asked for a new plate but who really wants to complain when you have to worry about our food being tempered with. Idk bummer part is I had high expectations and was told the food was really good. Maybe it was just bad timing. 6:30 pm on a Friday night.

Our first time visiting, not expecting much.I had the beef steak fajitas and Sandy had the red chimichangas. We could not finish the meal so we had to take home! Everything was awesome and will surely visit it again !!! Please our low rider community visit this establishment and experience a nice little place. Cruising is not a crime!
