Interior decor is nice. Very spacious inside and has private dining rooms, one of which accommodated our party of 8. An enormous variety of wine stored in a massive see through wine holder and chiller. Only one person in our party had been here before and raved about the food. We ordered a variety of starters to share, crab dip (literally flaming), calamari, fried green tomatoes and duck fat fries. Not one complaint around the table.
Our entrees came out plated so lovely and the portion sizes were plentiful. Again, everyone was pleased with and enjoyed their selections. We will come back. I hear they have an amazing brunch on the weekends as well. I’ll definitely be trying it.
ATMOSPHERE:
We thought this was a High end restaurant that required dressing up, but we were wrong!
A dinner party at a long table had a guy wearing baseball hat and hood up. He was no celebrity. Another table had two females wearing pajama pants.
SERVICE:
Long waits for drinks. A table for 4 and we all got our meal but 1 person that waited another 10 minutes nearly. Two different servers brought a order to our table that was not ours. I observed our waitress was working a separate area beyond the main area we were seated in. Managements poor arrangement of staff would cause for our waitress never available when we need her.
FOOD:
Not impressed. The Caesar salad was very nice. The wife enjoyed her Scallops & Risotto. I had the Chesapeake. The lump crabmeat on the top was served cold and not warm. The homemade pasta noodles were stuck in a clump. They did not prepare the pasta properly to prevent clumping.
For dessert we had a Wild-berry Cobbler. This was actually good.
There is a parking lot that’s small. You may have to park in the parking garage. I’m not overly impressed to return.
THANK YOU
NONA HARMON
The food did not knock my socks off but I will return to give it another try. Definitely on the expensive side. Be mindful the drinks non alcoholic are separate; and it adds up.
On arrival good first impressions, nice decor, friendly staff. We had a private room which was nice. Our server was nice too. Not many vegan options, I got the pasta it was nice but nothing special considering the price. My sister ordered the vegan pie, which isn’t a pie – its a pizza without cheese. They forgot this meal and then rushed it, it was under cooked and horrible. Everyone else had an array of different meals, everyones was ok, nothing outstanding again considering the cost. Two of them had the same meal the ribs I believe and they came out looking completely different, one having an abundance of greens and one onion ring the other piled with onion rings with hardly and greens. Had to be reminded to bring out my daughters ice-cream.
Really really disappointing all round. Wouldn’t recommend.
