I visited the restaurant for the first time with a group of ladies for a birthday celebration. Very limited vegetarian choices on the menu. I choose the You-pick-two: Caesar salad and a grilled cheese sandwich with the bacon on the side to give to my friend. Plus a glass of house white wine. My plate was very hot when I received my order. The salad bowl was on a napkin on the same very hot plate as my sandwich. The salad was a bit limp due to the heat and there was very little dressing on it. It was a bit of chopped romaine, a few packaged croutons and some Kraft Parm. (I recognized it as tthe same stuff in my fridge at home.)
The sandwich was OK. Not sure if butter or oil was used to grill it, All I could tell was that very little was used. The bread was pretty dry. Half the sandwich had very little cheese. The other half had a lot of cheese. What was interesting was that out of 12 of us present, the only one that enjoyed her lunch was a lady that had chosen a chicken salad. Everyone else was very politely quiet about their lunch.
Our server Destiny was wonderful. Unfortunately without her smiling face and her pleasant attitude this whole lunch would have been a total disappointment to me.
I read a lot of glowing reviews of this restaurant. Somehow a bunch of l ladies in a private dining room seem to have been given mediocre food. I didn’t hear anyone say they wanted to come back. I’ll give it one more try and sit outside on the veranda. Hopefully the food I am served will be better out there than what I got inside today.

We had excellent meals on a cold Sunday and were fortunate to be seated in the bright sunroom. The mushroom brie soup was very tasty as were our chicken apple salad and beet and burrata salad. I added steak to the beet salad and it was cooked perfectly and tender. Would return.

Came down to visit my mother and she loves going here when I am visiting. Food was wonderfull as always and the staff were great. Our waiter Andrea’s was fantastic and very attentive even though he was extremely busy.

Very nice atmosphere and lots of customers tonight! We were attending a seminar in the private room, so I cannot speak for the whole menu at this time.

However, during our seminar, we were provided with two dishes, red and white chicken Parmesan, and the salmon and rice. Both these dishes were delicious and accompanied a green salad.

From the looks of it, we would like to come back soon!

My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day, by enjoying a meal at The Legacy Restaurant in the Villages, Florida. I’ve never seen so many people gathered together in one place for a meal on Valentine’s Day. I consider that a testament to the prestige and quality of this place. In order not to be overly full, my wife and I bypassed the appetizers and salad, and went straight to the entrees. Prior to ordering, they brought out warm bread and a delicious unique herb and mint butter. The bread was good, but could have been a bit more moist. My wife ordered the sautéed Sea Bass, with Rice and Corn Risotto, and sautéed Broccolini, which she said was flavorful and well prepared. I ordered the Seafood Ravioli, which consisted of large cheese stuffed tender ravioli with a rich butter and cheese cream sauce, topped with perfectly steamed shrimp, sublime sautéed scallops, and a juicy and flavorful lobster tail, with a side of warm drawn butter, for dipping. It takes some kind of skill for a Chef to prepare so many different components of a dish and have everything turn out perfectly. We also shared a decadent slice of Cheesecake with flambéed cherries jubilee. One suggestion that I would like to make is for The Legacy Restaurant to consider offering a selection of Non-Alcoholic Wines, for those of us who do not drink alcohol. After 4 million views of my contributions, I was honored to review yet another great restaurant. We will definitely be dining at this place again soon.

I want to thank Emma R. our wonderful server. Emma, you were absolutely fantastic! I could not have asked for better than you. You were absolutely stellar. Rosa our event coordinator, you were also outstanding with kindness and customer service above and beyond. Jayla, you were a truly a wonderful help with the wireless speakers I needed to set up. Laila you were also wonderful and I thank you for being there to lend a hand and oversee the event to ensure total satisfaction. To the Chef and the kitchen staff at the legacy restaurant at Nancy Lopez, the food was perfect! Everything was so delicious. Thank you so much. There was also a tall gentleman with a beard and mustache, in what seemed to be a managerial position, I thank you very much also. And last but not least, I would also like to thank the bar. You all did an outstanding job. I was thrilled with the outcome of the 80th birthday party we had at your restaurant. Everything was a 10 out of 10.

I recently had a celebration of life event at Lopez Legacy, and it was wonderful. Victoria, event coordinator, arranged everything perfectly, including menus. Shane, our waiter was outstanding. The food was great, and everyone walked out raving. Thank you for making the day so special.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner and even though it was extremely crowded, the atmosphere was wonderful. The service was phenomenal, very polite and outgoing to help with anything you needed or wanted. The food was good. Not like homemade but good. Nevertheless, I would definitely go back for another holiday dinner. The prices are about where they should be in this area with the clubhouses restaurants. Of course it would be nice if they were lower, but nowadays it seems like it’s high everywhere. We had a wonderful time. Great memories. Wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful service and good food. Thank you for the experience. It was lovely and we will be back.

What a great experience and amazing food to match! Never have we ever had a steak, so tender! But we think the best thing about it was the service and the Care that our waiter Sureen gave to us. When we first arrived, he introduced us to the restaurant, the highlights on the menu, his favorites, ladies and gentlemen‘s favorites. He paid close attention to what we might like, and gave wonderful suggestions. He was also very polite, attentive, and made the experience wonderful for our wedding anniversary. The gluten-free options were plentiful , and they catered to it. Highly recommend this restaurant, and our waiter, Sureen who was wonderful! It was such a great experience that my husband and I joined the VIP club! Of course, for those of you that follow, photos of food have started to be eaten! Lol
