For food, my friend and I split the arancini, focaccia + prosciutto, and the Rigatoni (fennel sausage, kale, calabrian chile, lemon breadcrumbs). The pricing was great to share all this and 2 drinks each, it came to $52 per person with tax and tip.
Im a sucker for good Italian food, and live on Larimer and pass this restaurant almost on the daily. With you having to order from the counter, I’ve always been hesitant to go in since it gives off almost a fast dining vibe as youre passing by, but DO NOT let this hold you from stopping in!
The wifey and i ordered their date night special , a beautiful salad, spaghetti (we added meatballs), cacio e pepe, and tiramisu . We also ordered a glass of wine and an old fashion. After the tip the bill was around 100$ , so pretty reasonable for a nice Italian dinner for two.
Now let me get into the food quality.
WOW
ABSOLUTELY the best cacio pepe I’ve ever had, extremely unique, super flavorful, and obviously homemade noodles. Absolutely delicious.
The spaghetti and meatballs, also bomb.com ! The pasta sauce was absolutely amazing, couldn’t get enough of it and used the delicious homemade bread to get it all down!
Im not a salad guy but the wifey said it was very good, and made a comment on the candied nuts adding a nice layer of sweetness.
Tiramisu – almost reminded me of a snickers snickerdoodle cake. Absolutely amazing as well, maybe the best tiramisu I’ve ever had.
All in all, amazing experience. Great wait staff and the food is absolutely the star of the show. Can’t wait to go back
Such an amazing experience!
I felt so welcomed from the moment I walked in. The staff was incredibly hospitable and took amazing care of me the entire time. Their house focaccia bread was honestly show-stopping — warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They even brought me extra butter (which was heavenly) without me having to ask.
Everything felt thoughtful, cozy, and made with love.
I left feeling taken care of and genuinely happy.
Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!
Our appetizers were Fried King mushrooms with a cream tarragon spice, and Tuna Aguachile. Both were excellent.
We ordered the Casio e Pepe pasta which was under cooked and crunchy, and tasted like someone in the kitchen spilled a bottle of salt on it. It was so bad we didn’t even take more than two bites.
We also ordered the Squid Ink Cavetelli, which was spicy and pretty good, but was still salty.
First timers here and definitely won’t be back.
Maybe ask for no salt in your pastas?
