It was my first time stopping by and everything was delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the focaccia bread with blackened butter even if you’re going to get pasta, it’s absolutely worth it. You will never have better focaccia bread. Both pasta dishes I tried were really great and I was a big fan of the Panzanella.

This place is top notch. Happy hour menu on a Monday was perfectly priced for the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve had in Denver!

Dio Mio is great for a weekday dinner with friends. Getting a table was easy considering they don’t take reservations, and I felt their service was great despite the fact you order food and drinks at the bar. Loved the specialty cocktails from the bars I tried — dragonfruit limoncello spritz and blood orange margarita.
For food, my friend and I split the arancini, focaccia + prosciutto, and the Rigatoni (fennel sausage, kale, calabrian chile, lemon breadcrumbs). The pricing was great to share all this and 2 drinks each, it came to $52 per person with tax and tip.

Dio Mio is absolutely incredible. The food is insane — truly some of the best handmade pasta I’ve ever had. I came in with my daughters and we had a great dinner. When it was time for dessert, they only had carrot cake, and my girls started complaining because they wanted chocolate. Someone on the staff overheard and actually made a special chocolate mousse just for them, completely free. It was such a kind, thoughtful gesture and made our night. Amazing food, amazing people. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Randomly came into Dio Mio last night and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff there. Will definitely be back.

Im a sucker for good Italian food, and live on Larimer and pass this restaurant almost on the daily. With you having to order from the counter, I’ve always been hesitant to go in since it gives off almost a fast dining vibe as youre passing by, but DO NOT let this hold you from stopping in!

The wifey and i ordered their date night special , a beautiful salad, spaghetti (we added meatballs), cacio e pepe, and tiramisu . We also ordered a glass of wine and an old fashion. After the tip the bill was around 100$ , so pretty reasonable for a nice Italian dinner for two.

Now let me get into the food quality.

WOW

ABSOLUTELY the best cacio pepe I’ve ever had, extremely unique, super flavorful, and obviously homemade noodles. Absolutely delicious.

The spaghetti and meatballs, also bomb.com ! The pasta sauce was absolutely amazing, couldn’t get enough of it and used the delicious homemade bread to get it all down!

Im not a salad guy but the wifey said it was very good, and made a comment on the candied nuts adding a nice layer of sweetness.

Tiramisu – almost reminded me of a snickers snickerdoodle cake. Absolutely amazing as well, maybe the best tiramisu I’ve ever had.

All in all, amazing experience. Great wait staff and the food is absolutely the star of the show. Can’t wait to go back

Such an amazing experience!

I felt so welcomed from the moment I walked in. The staff was incredibly hospitable and took amazing care of me the entire time. Their house focaccia bread was honestly show-stopping — warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They even brought me extra butter (which was heavenly) without me having to ask.

Everything felt thoughtful, cozy, and made with love.
I left feeling taken care of and genuinely happy.
Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered appetizers and two dishes.

Our appetizers were Fried King mushrooms with a cream tarragon spice, and Tuna Aguachile. Both were excellent.

We ordered the Casio e Pepe pasta which was under cooked and crunchy, and tasted like someone in the kitchen spilled a bottle of salt on it. It was so bad we didn’t even take more than two bites.

We also ordered the Squid Ink Cavetelli, which was spicy and pretty good, but was still salty.

First timers here and definitely won’t be back.

Maybe ask for no salt in your pastas?

First off the meat balls and desert are amazing! There was a slight hiccup in greeting and service, however the executive chef Peter Mctiernan made it right! He was super personal, apologetic, and professional. Truly a chef who not only cares about food and people!

Honestly a big mistake coming here. If you’re looking for good service, this isn’t it chief. They collect tips when you pay. I tip based off how good the service is. Not before I order. They also gave me a butter knife to cut my food with. Below average at best. Everything looks really good in the photos but it’s a catfish y’all. It’s not very tasteful and also get a load of that dessert. The cake was harder than a stone in Iceland and the size of a spoon. $10 for that dessert too. I’m not sure what’s going on here but I definitely won’t be back. Very disappointing.
