We ventured back to the mahoning drive in and again, had to stop for breakfast at Beacon 443….and again, it did not disappoint!!! Start from top….sausage gravy on toast with a hashbrown, middle is a full stack of French toast and the bottom is a mushroom, pepper and cheese omelet with home fries and toast! Service is amazing, food is super amazing and the atmosphere is an old style diner! Coffee and OJ hit the spot! Will return everytime we are down this way….we travel 4 hours from Upstate NY!

food service was very fast, the food was fantastic, and the waitress was very attentive to myself and all the folks in her section.
I ate the eggs before I took this picture , but got scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and a short stack of pancakes

It was explore a different diner day we didn’t wait long for seating, got our drinks and waited awhile for our meals. When it came everyone enjoyed their meal however the meatloaf needed more seasoning. Not too excited about another visit but time will tell.

Our family went up to the Mahoning Drive In a few times this year, and we recently decided to spend the night on the lot. So, in the morning we headed to The Beacon for breakfast. I had been once before with friends and had a great club sandwich. The kids had the Belgian waffles, my son likes his plain with nothing on it and that wasn’t a problem. My daughter really liked the Belgian waffle ice cream sandwich! Which I’d never seen before. My ham and cheese omelet was great and the coffee was good. You can get a hash brown patty with your omelet and, I might be wrong, I think it’s deep fried. It’s so crunchy and cooked perfectly! Everyone who works there is super nice.
I’m so happy to find a diner. They’ve all disappeared by our home in Delco. The Beacon reminds me of the diners I went to growing up in the 80’s and 90’s. ❤️

We to the Beacon Diner for breakfast this morning and it was an okay experience. We were greeted promptly as we walked in and waited about 10 minutes to be seated with 9 open tables. The coffee was warm and the food was alright. They have some sign up about how COVID affected the place but yea that’s just an excuse at this point. I wouldn’t go back again but our waitress was nice.

Lately the food here has gotten pretty bad. Think they lost there cook. Took them 40 minutes to bring out 3 burgers and a kids mac and cheese and the kids was just all btter no cheese, was so greasy. Feel bad giving this review but this is the 3rd time we’ve been there with the new cook and it’s not getting any better.

Great spot we stopped at for dinner on our way home from up north. Didn’t have super high expectations because the outside looks a little run down, but once inside, it’s super cute and cozy. Dated in the best way. Food was delicious and the kids even ate most of their meals.

Coffee is delicious. Our breakfasts were perfectly prepared. The home fries are the best home fries I have ever had.
Don’t pass this little town restaurant if you are passing through town. You will surely be pleased. The food, the establishment and the service are all excellent.

Great services we were greeted and seated as soon as we came in the door. The hostess got our drinks and a little while after the waitress came and took our order. Great first experience.
