Definitely not worth the $75 for three people. My wife and I love Mongolian grill-style restaurants, so we were excited to try HuHot. I have to say it was the worst Mongolian barbecue we have ever had! We tried the chicken, the pork, and the beef; they were all dry, no matter how much sauce you put on. They have a lot of sauces, but none were that good. Most of the vegetables just had an off taste, like they used the cheapest canned vegetables they could find. It was an hour and a half before they closed when we got there, but it was dirty, like they had just given up on cleaning the tables and floors. And the guy on the grill was doing nothing but complaining to the other staff about how long of a day he had and that he didn’t want to be there anymore. My wife and kid said they felt guilty having him cook their food because he was so upset. It made for a very disappointing meal.

I did get ours and take them to go but the selections were there, however I was shocked that the meat was frozen and not fresh, as has been my experience in other Mongolian grill restaurants. The taste was still good but I have definitely had better quality from other Mongolian grill restaurants for lower prices. I think they definitely are overpriced!!

Went out for a birthday dinner and had a mix up with our debit cards and the bank. Rachael up front was so accommodating and patient while my husband figured out how we could pay. She helped us stay calm until we got it, and saved the evening! The food was amazing as always, I love the variety and how there is a new protein, topping or sauce every time we come. The Pad Thai noodles and spicy garlic sauce are my favorite.

This was our first visit. Didn’t know what to expect at all. We had a great experience. It all started with Kass G! She was so sweet and helpful when taking our order. She interacted with us multiple times during our stay. Always with a smile! The chefs at the grill were awesome! The food all tasted great as well. We will definitely be back!

Great good and service. Love that you get all the white rice you want. Yum. Please give it a try. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this local restaurant, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! The quality of their work is truly outstanding, and you can tell that they take great pride in what they do. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

This place seems consistently understaffed and you may be the first one in line, but I’ve waited multiple minutes for someone to acknowledge me and come take my money so I can even enter. Today, I was there for over 12 minutes while multiple employees walked by. One actually said he’d be with me in a few moments, multiple times. But he never came back. A line of over 10 people formed behind me, which is wild to not have anyone checking you in at 6:30 in the evening. So I went to start grabbing food to get it cooking with the plan to pay before leaving. Johnny was on the spot to stop me from going through the food line and let me know I needed to go back to the check-in line and pay. I asked if he would meet me there to take my money then. He said, “No, someone else needs to do that.” I asked if he can get that person because I needed to get going to pick my daughter up from soccer. He said the ONE person out of no less than six employees I saw running around the restaurant would be back in 10-15 minutes. That was ridiculous. Someone else needs to be trained how to use a cash register. I’ll be sticking with places that have more than one person during the dinner hours who knows how to use a cash register.

The older guy with the gray ponytail on the grill was incredibly rude. When I brought my food up he got visibly frustrated and muttered something under his breath and took the bowls from me. The food it’s self was on not the grill long enough so was warm at best. The young guy that was at the grill sometimes was very nice as was the host. I’ll try again after some months. If the same older guy is working the grill I’ll simply leave.

My kids and I absolutely love this place when we are in Billings. This is our go to for lunch.
Pretty upset they no longer offer eggs as an option. My kid is very picky so it was fantastic to have eggs for him to eat. Hopefully they will get them back. Crossing our fingers. I feel like I pay enough per plate to have them for my son since he doesnt eat anything else. Just my though though.
They do have many other options.
Their ice cream is the best!
