Where do I even begin? We were greeted by a pleasant team of hosts who quickly got us sat, even though we were a tad early for our reservation. Our server, Brittany, was fantastic, very familiar with the menu and made great recommendations. We started off with the mussels which are still being talked about 2 days later, an absolute must get. For our entrees we got the tagliatelle and the picanha and two sides to split. The mushrooms and the papas alpastadas are to absolutely die for, we both had decided that they alone were enough of a reason to come back. The tagliatelle was delicious and very lemony, the picanha was the best steak either of us had ever had. We ended the night with their cheesecake which was immaculate, with the perfect balance of sweet and savory from the goat cheese and honey comb. Everything about this restaurant far exceeded our expectations, genuinely cannot recommend this place enough for a nice night out in Minnesota.

We had a fantastic dinner at Porzana! One of the few DDP restaurants I hadn’t tried yet and it’s up there as one of the best! As a group of four we shared the empanadas, caesar salad, grilled prawns, grilled broccoli, 12 oz wagyu sirloin, the mafaldini, and the tagliatelle.

Surprisingly, my favorite dishes might’ve been the empanadas and their caesar! Very simple but so good. The empanadas are served with a pineapple salsa and an avocado creme fraiche (kinda like guac) and it balances the pork/beef filing so well. The fried oysters on the caesar instead of croutons were actually amazing. The grilled prawns were good but a little too spicy for me, and I think all around the groups least favorite dish, but by no means were they bad. Grilled broccoli was also spicy but so delicious! Recommend.

The steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious. It comes with some sort of white sauce, I’m not sure exactly what that was, and we also tried the bearnaise. Both lacked flavor. Out of the pastas the tagliatelle was our favorite! Generous portion of lobster which I appreciated. The mafaldini was also really good, but both pastas were a little overcooked (me just being picky).

Most restaurants do not do a little dessert, much less acknowledge birthday’s or special occasions anymore, but Porzana does and we were graced with a scoop of honey ricotta and lavender ice cream. So good!!!

Our waiter Brian was fantastic when he was around, but unfortunately he wasn’t around all that much and service was really really slow. All said and done it was about a 2.5 hour service on a Monday and especially towards the end when the restaurant cleared out it was still way too slow. Great atmosphere though! Nicer restaurants also tend to skimp on the portions sizes, but that was not the case here. Great portions of everything and we left stuffed!

This might be one of my favorite spots in MSP. The food, service and ambience are all excellent. I would definitely recommend for a special night out with excellent food. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and they even brought us champagne and a dessert on the house, which was really thoughtful.

Food: we had the winter Panzella salad Which was recommended by the waitress in an absolute crowd pleaser. We also had the chipas Which were like fluffy cheesy little pillows. And as an added bonus, they were gluten-free so I could enjoy them at my leisure. As a sidenote, the next time we go, I will definitely be getting an extra order of these because they reheat very well the next day and are so good. We had the smashed potatoes (papas aplastadas) and carrots to share, and the food portions were plenty that we had leftovers to enjoy at home. The carrots were flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The potatoes filling and comforting. We both had the picanha cut, which came with several different toppings: my husband chose au poivre, and I chose the chimichurri, both were excellent, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We also had a few glasses of wine recommended by our waitress, and these were excellent as well. We finished the meal with the burnt basque cheesecake which was unique and delightful. I love goat cheese so appreciated the tang that came with incorporating it.

Service: we had an excellent, waitress, well informed, thoughtful, and paced our courses well.

Ambiance: it was just a little bit loud, but I did love the vibe and the lighting in the restaurant. My only complaint was the positioning of our table against the kitchen. It was a little weird and offputting, but truly a minor point.

Overall, I definitely recommend for a wonderful evening out with delicious food And a memorable experience.

Porzana features a brunch menu that is anything but boring, offering upscale and Argentinian-inspired takes on classic breakfast dishes like Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwiches (Bacon, Egg, and Chorizo here!) as well as some unique dishes, like Turkish Eggs. My Turkish eggs were delicately poached and full of flavor, and the labneh served as a delicate, creamy companion. We also ended up ordering a couple of gem salads for the table, which admittedly were a little bitey (either due to lemon juice or vinegar, hard to tell) but the vegetables were fresh and packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the papas apulstedas (I am probably spelling that wrong) for the table, which are served atop a bed of bearnaisse sauce. They also have a variety of cocktails and mocktails to enjoy here. All in all, this is an excellent spot.

Every time we come I love everything we get. Seabass is my absolute favorite, along with the glazed carrots and goat cheese cheesecake, but everything is always fantastic. Service is also always great. Parking is usually difficult but we valet at a restaurant down the street and walk over.

We dined in for dinner, and Willem R. was our server. He was extremely kind, welcoming, and very open to answering all of our questions. He went above and beyond with his explanations, and his customer service was truly top-notch.

The food was delicious and full of flavor. I highly recommend the miso ribeye—it was juicy and perfectly cooked. Our second favorite dish was the sea bass; the sauce was absolutely amazing. The oysters were very fresh and not fishy at all, which everyone at our table really enjoyed.

Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

From the moment we walked into Porzana we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of elegant and inviting- warm lighting, tasteful decor and a calm energy that makes you want to linger. Every detail feels intentional.
The service was outstanding. Our server was Tasha, she was attentive without being intrusive. She was knowledgeable about the menu and her enthusiasm for the food made the experience even better.
And the food? Simply incredible!. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of layered flavors. The ingredients were clearly fresh and high quality- You can taste the care that goes into every bite. Porzana manages to combine fine dining with a genuine welcoming feel- a rare balance. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a memorable night out, this is the place to go. We left completely impressed and already planning our next visit with our friends.

I only heard good reviews about this place and there was a reason to that! The food was amazing from the drink to the appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts were all fabulous with everything being the right amount of seasonings and flavors!!! Anytime of cut is perfect and the sides are definitely shareable sizes and the seafood is super refreshing and FRESH! We go the oysters and scallops tartare which was lovely and the desserts just order anything! Everything is good! Highly recommend if there is any celebration but also it’s so worth it to make any reason to celebrate anything to go as well!

Excellent first experience. Extensive wine and cocktail menu. Small glass bottles of Diet Coke. We leaned on our server for steak recommendations and he steered us the right way. The Gorgonzola Striploin was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

First time. Everything was pretty good except the carrots. It was just bland. Loved the prawns and the fish dish the best. The pasta could’ve used more lobster. The mango cocktail was really good and the second one was so so. Overall really nice food and cocktails. Will go back for sure.
