Momoyaki, a family-owned/operated Korean-American fusion restaurant, blossomed from humble beginnings. With only her mother’s home-cooked recipes, Kay Yun (chef/owner) and husband, Chi Yun, founded Momoyaki in 2008 to relieve their nostalgia for home. Like any authentic Korean home-cooked meal, the taste and quality depend on its spices and sauces. Unlike many options available in Gainesville, Momo’s owners take pride in producing all of their sauces and stocks in-house with only the highest quality ingredients. At Momo, everyone’s family so each order is made fresh from scratch, carefully prepared with patience and love. All of the food was so delicious. Fried chicken is my top choice from appetizer, hot stone also good, squid is super flavored, seafood was okay, not my favorite. But overall is reasonable price and enough food for 3 of us and packed togo for another meal. Service is okay, will definitely be back

Have loved this place for years, cozy hole in the wall atmosphere, pretty sure the sushi chef has been there for a long time and he consistently delivers the best I’ve ever had in Gainesville. Luis was our waiter tonight and he did a fantastic job I feel compelled to leave a review; so refreshing to have perfect service, I’m talking above and beyond. Was perfect with his timing, brought us broccoli, kimchi and pickled radish to pair with our meals, was knowledgeable about the sauces we liked, even brought us some to try. Super nice guy, will be asking for him next time around!
P.s. Pork belly is one of the best things I’ve ever had in my life.

Great food! Nice atmosphere and service! Definitely going to come back to try more things! Food came out fast! Everything we got was delicious! We had some of the amazing kimchi fries, the bulgogi lunchbox and got a Krabs kimbap to go!

Such a pleasant place to eat, indoors or outdoors. Our server (Cyleste) was excellent – very pleasant and helpful.
Pork dumplings were good and loved the pickles they bring out with your meal. I got the stone pot bibimbop for the crunchy rice but there was no crunchy rice to be found 🙁 and the egg was a bit underdone :/

Lots of very rich food. Large portions . They mix drinks if you want to have a drink. All in all it’s a good place. A little too heavy and too sweet for me, on both accounts for food (eggplant dish) and a drink (lychee)

Food tasted alright. Ordered the lunch jjampong and am very full. I ate alone but was charged for 2 iced peach black teas. I had checked the menu after taking a look at pictures of it on the maps menu and confirmed that refills were free but still charged for 2.
