I love this place! I was in the neighborhood for a class and had time for dinner. Went in around 6:30 on a Wednesday and found a lot of families having a good time here. Self order kiosk worked well for me! Gave me time to peruse the menu more.

Ordered the OMG burger and fries and was blown away by the price. I know beef is going up and that I’m eating in Seattle, but damn.

Immediately after placing my order, the fountain drink I ordered was walked right to me, a cup to fill up and a lineup of small biz sodas at my disposal. I tried both the cola and lemon lime and they hit well.

Now, when the burger came out, my buyers remorse immediately disappeared. I could SMELL the burger like you’d expect to smell a steak coming to your table at a fine restaurant. It was a new experience for me.

As I ate my OMG burger, I drifted into a blissful state. The fries were also hot and fresh. The environment was welcoming and felt like a great communal spot.

I’m going back for certain, even if it does cost me an hour of labor to eat here (looking fo IT work—find me on LI!!) It’s so worth it. Bringing my kids next time!

Giddy Up Gourmet Burger is a gem for burger enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The ample seating made it easy to find a comfortable spot, whether you’re there for a casual hangout or a nice family meal.
The service is impressively fast, and the servers are both knowledgeable and friendly.

On my visit, I tried the Kickin’ Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, accompanied by sides of sweet potato fries and haystack onion rings. The sandwiches were supremely delicious, with tender chicken and perfectly balanced sauces that truly elevated the flavors.

The sweet potato fries were a standout—crispy and flavorful, they were an excellent complement to the main dishes. The haystack onion rings, which are thinly sliced compared to traditional onion rings, offered a unique twist. While I appreciated the innovation and the flavor, I found myself missing the classic onion rings. However, this didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the meal.

I would definitely visit again to try more of their offerings.

This is one of my favorite burger places in Seattle. They have great burger options, deep fried veggies and plenty of tables.
This is one of the places I can take my kids and they are happy, too. If you, like me, enjoy Chile peppers on your burger, you should try the one at giddy up, can’t go wrong with that.

Great burgers with a variety of toppings made to order. The fries are delicious, and they have a wide selection of craft beers on tap; from ales and pilsner to porter and stout. If you’d prefer a soda, they have a local brand which is very good. The atmosphere is super casual and the barn area is a lot of fun.

My husband and I came to Giddy Up looking for good burgers. We found them! The big cheese and the poblano burger were delicious. We also shared a large side of today. It was more than enough to share. There was a large selection of drinks as well. Indoor and outdoor seating avail. We didn’t try it but there was also a self-serve ice cream by the ounce. Overall we left satisfied and will happily be back to try more burgers.

I think this is a good burger spot but the price doesn’t match the portions. For a $20 burger, hoping that comes with fries (it doesn’t) and the fries portion was small (in my opinion). I love burgers but when I’m paying $50 for two people it makes me think twice about coming back. Nice spot, good food, but pricetag isn’t justified.

As a clean-eating ovovegetarian, appreciated that they have vegetarian and vegan options, but I would not recommend this restaurant. I ordered the hot greens and the white bean quinoa city slicker. It tastes good, not great. The white bean quinoa burger was meat textured, but fragmented with biting. The greens were extremely oily soaking through multiple napkins, not very flavorful worth $9. Also, they were not spicy, luckily they have Tabasco sauce and sriracha sauce available for you to add to your food. I requested an onion be added to my burger and got one sliver. I thought this place was overpriced, serving what I would consider a small fry, for almost $5. If you want a vegan burger, go to a vegan burger specialty spot.

Interestingly, there are a lot of young children present, with their parents.

They also have self serve ice cream with some toppings. No plant based options, though.

Great burger spot in Ballard!

Nice burgers with a good selection of drinks. The fries and tots were both really good… The potato inside was soft while the outside was still crispy. Only negative is that the “large” sides were on the small side.

Variety of seating options, inside, outside covered, outside uncovered. Large place.

Huge bonus is having a free parking lot right outside.
