It’s waffle house, so the expectations are fairly low to begin with. But every time i go in, the wait staff is wonderful regardless of what time of day. Victoria helped me last night at around 10 pm and was very nice and attentive. The only gripe I have is the food was served in to-go containers and plastic silverware. Not sure if it’s because they didn’t have a dishwasher on staff at that time, but I can overlook that if that’s the case.

On the morning of 1/28/26 the service was absolutely TERRIBLE! The waitress (her name is Jocelyn by the way) walked past me several times before she finally decided to take my order and as I was looking around at the atmosphere they couldn’t have been that busy. Then she told me that my order will be done in 15 minutes so when I walked back in the store after 15 minutes they were just now making my order. I was SO upset that I canceled my order so I wouldn’t be late for work and asked for my money back and I’m not sure if it was even refunded back on my card, so with that experience I say this with confidence that I will NEVER go to that Waffle House location again.

Were not from alabama and I was excited about trying this place as the food in alabama never disappointed me, but the server kinda ruined the experience. I believe her name was smiley, she didnt greet us or introduce herself. She literally just placed the napkins and silverware down and walked away. Came back dropped off the waters and walked off again… and then I noticed how she was with other people. Nice, smiling and all that but once she came to our table it was all blunt and short. Sorry but that doesn’t deserve a tip… especially if were new.

I came in around shift change so Im not too upset about the delay for some of my food or the fact that I didnt get the correct order at first. But the workers here have a bad habit of interrupting you and not letting you finish your sentence when trying to order. Hence why my order didnt come out right because they walked off before I could finish speaking

I’ve only been to waffle house once before and it was 7 years ago. My wife and I went for dinner and got takeout to bring it home. Everything was AMAZING. I knew the waffles were great because that’s what I had tried before. The waffle I got did not disappoint. I got biscuits and gravy. It was the very last of the gravy they had that night so it was more thick than usual but it was still good. If the gravy was fresh it would have been incredible. My wife got a chicken hash brown bowl and it was amazing how good it was. The chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly. Waffle house really surprised us with how good it all was. We were expecting average breakfast food and we were presently surprised with how good it all was.
EDIT: This is one of my favorite places to eat here now. The waffles are always amazing and the chicken is incredible in the chicken melt bowls is unbelievable.

I occasionally go here for breakfast and most of the time, it’s fine. Even if there are a few little things, I’m not one to complain. But this time was something else. So I walk in and sit in the stool area, and one of the employees told me to sit in a booth instead. Ok. Then I get my food and my hashbrowns are a little undercooked. Ok. Then, the lady hands me my check without me even getting my waffle. Then, she takes my plate with my fork and now I’m eating a waffle without the chocolate chips I asked for with a spoon. At that point I’m posting a review here. Thanks!

First I asked to dine in, they had me sitting for a while. It wasn’t many people at all. My waffle was cold. They put cheese on my hashbrown, didn’t ask for it. I asked for a waffle. When she walked away, she yelled “you got grit, why do you need a waffle”. I felt embarrassed, all the cooks looked over and laughed. I never received my waffle and she had the nerve to ask did I receive it. I said never mind, because I didn’t want them to do anything to my food.
