Kiesha with Offline – Staci was an awesome server and made sure everything was amazing! I asked for crispy bacon and no one EVER gets it right…. but they did not miss the assignment! Best crispy bacon in Charlotte!
Heads Up: Grits are cheesy, but yummy

This place reminds me 100% of coastal Oregon eateries. Very cool place. I didn’t appreciate the undesignated bathrooms at all tho. That’s just gross to me (and most people). But the food is outstanding and the cream cheese french toast is amazing too. Definitely has a liberal vibe there but the cuisine makes up for it. You should try it .

The ambiance was good. Luckily the place was not crowded when we went there. The ambiance was good and the service was pretty quick. The biscuit was heavenly. The grits were okay to my taste. The three amigos tacos and chicken quesadillas was good. The omelette was yummy. The side potatoes were one of the best potatoes I had. The Belgian waffle was not that great.

Tina with Offline – The best grits I’ve had at a restaurant ever!! The ribeye was a bit overseasoned and it would be best if the biscuits were glazed with butter but still everything was tasty.
I came back and tried the delicious grits bowl- yum!

We had a wonderful lunch here. They have a small outdoor patio, but unfortunately it was very hot outside so we sat inside. We were seated right away and our waitress was very sweet. She kept checking on us and recommended a few lunch items.

Our food was excellent. Fresh, hot and good flavor. I had the Chicken club which was so good. We sat around talking and they never rushed us out. I will definately be back.

My wife, son, and I decided to dine here on a Sunday morning. It was our first visit. We waited for a bit but were seated and served very quickly! The host and hostess were very friendly and our server, Tiffany, was amazing and offered some great recommendations! My wife ordered the 1/2 shrimp and grits and Classic Eggs Benedict. My son had the Chorizo Hash and I had the Stuffed French Toast breakfast . Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious , portions were generous, and service from Tiffany and the resident ambassador was amazing! Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we highly recommend everyone come here for a great brunch!

Today, precisely around 10 am after having a rough morning I decided to go try out this place to see if it was worth the hype. And I am excited to say it is not. I walk in and was rudely greeted by a rather big woman, with a very light complexion, and who had a claw-clip that was practically grasping onto air bc of how thin her hair was. A solid 10 minutes pass of me sitting with not even a water when I noticed the same woman was attending people who came in after me and who were not people of color. Thankfully, a younger woman came over and took my order and continued to check in, all whilst the other rude woman continued to walk past me completely ignoring me. Overall though the food was decent, atmosphere was cute, but a certain staff member left me with a sense of distaste towards this particular location. I have never left a review before so for this to be my first is quite unfortunate. Lastly, i’m not seeking an apology this review is simply to share my experience here. ☺️

I come to Flying Biscuit often for breakfast and have never had any issues. Today, I came in for breakfast and noticed that their menu changed. The breakfast I usually get was on the menu but called something else and did not include the eggs, but included the French toast, grits, and chicken patties which I usually sub with bacon. Today, I ordered the same and subbed the chicken patties with bacon and added eggs since they no longer come with the meal. I finished my meal and the waitress brought my tab. I read the receipt and noticed that she charged me for the bacon. So I told her that before, they would allow the chicken patties to be substituted with another meat and asked is this not the case and she tried to tell me that the chicken patties were not apart of the meal that the menu stated you can add the chicken patties for an additional fee. I told her no, I read the menu and the chicken patties came with the meal. So she said she would ask the manager who was behind the bar. She came back and said, “Yeah, I’m sorry but he’s not going to adjust your bill.” I said no problem. I paid the bill and informed her that I would not be coming back. Now…. I usually don’t automatically discuss race, HOWEVER, I am a brown-skinned woman. Highly educated, and can read, write, and do calculus in my sleep… and can absolutely afford the meal… to be clear… but the fact that I know the patties come with the meal… and the manager didn’t even try to assist with the issue… let’s me know that this restaurant does not value my business or my green dollars… I’m certain this would not be the case if my skin was a different color… so I’ll spend my green dollars at Another Broken Egg because the food is much better and they always take care of me when I visit.

Great location. Plenty of places around to go. There was a 20min wait when we went around 12:30pm on a Sunday. The stuffed French toast was very good! The grits were just ok. They have queso in them and are a little too thin. I like thicker grits. Bacon was cooked very well. Biscuits were really good. My boyfriend said the gravy was good as well. It was crowded inside and a smaller place
