Cool spot. Good food. Great service. I had a flight of bourbon that was really good, and they give you a back story for each one, which was a really cool touch. I had the risotto with Mahi Mahi and a pistachio crunch that was pretty good. Nice flavor. Not overwhelming, but could have used a little something more. I came for lunch and was able to get right to a table, and had amazing service.

It has been a while since I have been really blown away by a restaurant, and The Oak really delivered on food, atmosphere, and service. Our waitress Sally, was so much fun and very knowledgeable about the bourbon and menu. I am already addicted to their cheese fries and mac and cheese it was so delicious! It has an upscale hole in the wall feel very welcoming and such a cool bar! Everything is locally sourced, I will recommend this place to everyone I know. It is pricey but well worth it.

Phenomenal service and food! It is rare to find a restaurant that encompasses what a dining experience should be. Our family enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the food that felt like it was made just for us. Drinks, burgers, risotto, bread pudding, etc…all fantastic. The staff and chefs take complete pride in all that they do. I think we have found our new “go to” place. Thank you Oak Raleigh for a wonderful experience.

My husband and I came here for date night, and from the second we walked into The Oak, we felt so welcome. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and personal. The service is top tier. They are so intentional and genuinely kind. They even asked for our names on the way out…I’ve never experienced that before! The food and drinks were equally top tier. The sliders were incredible and their own bourbon selection officially hooked my husband. You have to get the old fashioned! We already can’t wait to go back!

The waiter we had was exceptional. Very well versed with the menu and explained specials and his favorites which I always appreciate. He was very attentive as well. The food. Where do I begin? Just wow, the flavors were great!! We went with a big party and everything was tasty and service was awesome. Would definitely recommend!

I was in the area and was looking for a place with good bourbon and food and came across The Oak and loved it so much I went back again during my trip. It is a very cozy and inviting space that advertises itself as a scratch kitchen. Sat at the bar and quickly observed that they have a very vast, extensive, and solid bourbon & whiskey collection on their shelves. Got an old-fashioned made with their own in-house bitters that you can choose from which was good and ultimately treated myself to a pour of Weller 12. Justin was friendly and wicked knowledgeable about bourbons which resulted in an awesome conversation during dinner.

From a food perspective it was very fresh and delicious. Started with the Heritage Farms Pork Belly which was rendered beautifully and melted in my mouth without being overly oily that comes with pork belly some times. The entire app paired with the fresh greens, and the bourbon gastrique drizzled on top was well balanced in flavor. For the entree, I went with the Sesame crusted Seared Tuna which was cooked perfectly and paired very well with the bok choy, and wasabi crema.

Maybe it is because I was not familiar with the area or it was around dinner time but parking at the strip was hard to find as the lot was very full and the restaurant was tucked away between two buildings and had to rely on Maps to make sure I was in the right place after parking. Overall, strongly recommend this place if you are into bourbon/whiskeys and want good food while you are drinking.

So glad we found this little gem!!! Def on our fave list! Hailey, Sally, Glen, and everyone else we met were so nice and personable. Loved hearing each person’s story. We had lamb sliders, tuna tartar, fries, a craft drinks. All were amazing. The malt vinigar aoli was the right touch. There were so many options of delectable items, itnwas hard to choose. I love the creativity of all the scratch kichen food and drinks. Even the house burbon is the oaks own special formula. We are def going to be back to try everything else we didn’t get to try. All flavors were very distinctive and were so delish. Dog friendly patio with fans, in which Mr Deck loved meeting new friends. Music was outside in the courtyard area. Inside atmosphere is a quaint sophisticated polished look that holds the actual bar area. The next time I came I got the porkbelly benedict, it wasn’t really my jam but that could just be me. Easier was friendly and offered me something else and was pleasant. The food that day tasted a bit too salty for my liking, but again, that could just be me. Parking was easy. Other customers were a delight to meet as well!

Reserved a Table for Two at the Oak for my Wife and our one-year Anniversary. Fantastic food prepared in ways we’ve never had before. Portion sizes were perfect, the drink selection was top-tier, and the service staff was very attentive to our needs.

We were blown away by the food. As avid home-cooks we’re often disappointed when going to fine-dining establishments but this place was absolutely an exception.

Tuna Tartare – Phenomenal, every item on the plate was fantastic, from the Wonton Chips, seasoning, and sauce. The Quality of Tuna at this restaurant is the best I’ve ever had.

Mac & Cheese – Coming from a family that prides themselves on Mac and Cheese this was as good as it gets.

Seared Tuna Dish – Once again, the quality of the Tuna was stunning, it was vibrant, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The Vegetables and Wasabi Crema was perfect. Enough said really.

Pork Belly w/ Coleslaw – Crispy, Tender, and the balance between the flavor of the coleslaw and pork belly was a perfect pair.

Then our server was awesome, she was so friendly and knowledgeable about everything we asked about and also made great recommendations. The food lived up to all the hype!
