Recently I’ve been going to places I haven’t been before, and I’m surprised to say I haven’t gone to a Waffle House before.
This being my first experience it was a bit of a let down..
The food was alright, tasted fine. The hash browns were very good. The bacon was cold and chewy, which some people might like but I personally do not.
The service was also fine, a bit cold from the employee that served us. When I had difficulty saying my order I felt as if they were going to laugh at me.
The atmosphere was a big let down.. I was imaging background music and a happy inviting atmosphere, but it was the complete opposite. No music, not many customers, sub-par staff and just an overall empty feeling.
Overall my experience was okay I suppose, though I was expecting more from a popular breakfast chain.

There is no greater not more reliable dining experience quite like a Waffle House – and this one was NO exception.
Despite being out of an item I wanted (the cherry syrup for my cola), the staff were amongst some if the most pleasant and delightful individuals to which I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.
And the food – quickly served and quality made.
A SOLID 6/5 stars and it breaks my HEART that we don’t have a Waffle House closer to home…

To-go orders are killing this place. We waited about 10-15 minutes after ordering before we heard our orders get called to the line cooks, and the place was half empty. One of our 3 waffles came out waaaay late. And the bacon tasted off. Like real weird. To be fair, they comped us 10% for the wait. But still, I felt more like an afterthought than a customer.
Waffle House isn’t just a restaurant. Waffle House is something to be experienced. Stepping through that front door feels like you’ve entered another dimension. It’s its own microcosm of sweat and swearing and sizzling, of hustle and bustle, where street smarts and swagger meets old timey diner meets hash brown hangover cures. It’s a bizarre world, one that catches me off guard every time, one that I both love and hate at the same time. I hate that I love it, and I love to hate on it.

I heard of and decided to visit because of all the online memes. I come from CA. I went in the morning, and no tomfoolery was seen. I was surprised the waffles were very mid. But the bacon, sausage and eggs (no diddy) was great. Way better than the waffle and I don’t know why. Our server was very nice and she was attentive. Chill breakfast spot, it has some type of theme made me feel like i was in a clean subway station. Idky. Worth one visit if u happen to see one.

Came to this location for lunch Brooke was our waitress and she was AMAZING!! Greeted us with a beautiful smile and a hello. She knows her stuff!! Took our order got our food out to us quick and correct!! I highly recommend her as your server!

We left Denny’s because a member of our party just had to have grits for breakfast and they didn’t have any.
I am so glad we did! This atmosphere was electric! From the bustling and friendliness of the staff to ensuring everyone was greeted, to the diverse atmosphere, clean restaurant and restrooms to the awesome aroma of fresh cooked bacon, egg whites, hashbrowns, pancakes, waffles, I think it was chili hash, to the fresh tasting orange juice, coffee, and Team. I enjoyed every moment with my senior company and so did they as well as seeing all of the age groups also enjoying their meals.
I recommend this location to everyone!
