Went three days in a row as I was in town for a project. Peppersauce Omelette has cream cheese filling, too sweet for me. Phoenix Omelette has chorizo and poblano and was not too spicy. The biscuits and gravy are both from scratch and makes a full meal. B&G are by far my favorite of the three.
Good, friendly service. 5 different pepper sauces on the table. Habenero was the best for me.
Will go back next time im in town.

We were in town near the airport and found the Peppersauce online, and what a great find it was. It’s a locals place, and we were probably the only tourists there. The breakfast burrito was excellent, and everything we saw going by looked really good.. My wife had a blueberry pancake, which was huge, tender and served with real maple syrup, all for $7. It’s not big on atmosphere but if you want a great, reasonably priced breakfast near the airport, this is the place to go.

Nestled in South Phoenix at 3937 E Anne St, The Peppersauce Cafe is a timeless family-owned diner that’s been a local beacon since 1993.

This unpretentious spot near the airport delivers hearty American comfort food with a personal touch—think fluffy eggs in chorizo-packed breakfast burritos, crispy hash browns, and the legendary Peppersauce Burger with its juicy, fresh patty slathered in signature sauce.

Portions are generous, prices fair (around $10-15 per meal), and the service exudes warmth, making you feel like family.

Open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., it’s perfect for a quick airport layover or workday boost. Compared to flashy chains, it shines with authenticity; locals call it a “hidden gem” for its consistency and soulful vibe. it’s worth the detour for that nostalgic, satisfying bite.

Highly recommend!

After an all-day flight, and staring down $22 wraps at the airport, it was refreshing to come to this place. As others have mentioned, it’s a quaint home-feeling cafe that’s a welcome relief to the big chain restaurants; something local and authentic.

I almost thought Google sent me to the wrong spot, but it’s there, right off the highway.

Big portions and very fair prices.

Recommend.

While looking for a breakfast spot I searched for chicken fried steak on Google Maps and chose Peppersauce Cafe based on reviews. BEST decision ever! At first glance, the cafe is on a frontage road surrounded by an industrial park. But what caught my eye was the packed parking lot and cars parked on the streets. That’s where you know you scored a good restaurant. As soon as I came in the door I was greeted by friendly staff, a rarity in a lot of restaurants these days. As for the chicken fried steak… WOW… The flavor, light crispy texture and size was perfect. The server said they worked hard on this recipe and it shows. They even have a side of just the cfs if you don’t want the eggs, hash browns and toast that comes with the meal. My son got the pancakes which were HUGE and they were excellent. Fluffy and great flavor as well. This is now my go to place!

My new favorite burger joint! Don’t let the small looking building fool you, it’s huge inside. I have the bacon and blue cheese burger, it was enormous, perfect cooked bacon and you could actually taste the blue cheese. Great place!

Arrived 12:30 lunch time. Painfully noisy. Seat yourself. Server came immediately. Had Patty Melt and Texan Burger on a pretzel bun. Side was onion rings. Rings were crispy and not greasy. Patty Melt was just ok and greasy. Texan burger was messy and delicious. Coffee was just so so. Only one refill. Server did not return after she delivered the check so I guess she was finished with us.

What a hidden gem! Just had my first of many meals here, and it was fantastic! My husband and I shared a cup of the Chicken Curry Soup- so warm and creamy with so many tasty chucks of carrots, chicken and potatoes…with just enough curry. We also shared the Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich with onion rings. Perfectly cooked and balanced, and the rings were thick cut and crispy, but also so light!

As soon as we started to order I knew I was going to like it here. I asked Janette about their chili. She offered me a sample before ordering it. It was delicious and Janette was an awesome waitress. The place was busy, but we got our food quickly and as Janette passed by checking on her other tables she was checking on our drinks and any other needs.

The Open Faced Roast Beef was good and the gravy was really good. The Mashed Potatos were outstanding.

The Texican was a good burger and I added an egg to it. The Tater Tots were really good also.

We returned today to try their breakfast. Both the Chicken Fried Steak and the Western Omelets were delicious. The western omelet was a “cowboy chili with beans” and chese omelet topped with green chili.

The Chicken Fried Steak was good. Both the eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly. The marble rye was really good and the pancakes are nearly as big as the plate. They were nice and fluffy w/ a hint of vanilla.

The best part of all was the service. You get your food fast and Janette has quickly become one of my favorite waitresses Her service alone makes it worth going there. Having great food is a bonus.

What a great find! Neat little place not far from work. Decided to go there at lunch yesterday. Got there at 11:15. It was PACKED and for good reason. Food was yummy with lots of standard lunch items to choose from (burgers, sandwiches, salads), service was good especially considering how busy they were, and prices were reasonable. Can’t ask for more than that! We got the bbq pulled pork sandwich. Very good. Also the turkey poblano sandwich and pinto beans. They have lots of neat sides to choose from. Would definitely come here again.
