I was walking around downtown Golden looking for a healthy option for lunch. Cafe 13 was recommended for their menu which includes a few breakfast items, salads, and vegetarian options.
I opted for the Thai Chicken Salad and a bowl of Green Chili. Both were good. The salad had fresh ingredients and was filling. The chili had great flavor and a good kick of spiciness to it. I definitely ordered too much food for myself! I didn’t realize how large the salad was going to be but I was happy about the portion size for the cost.
The staff is very friendly. I would say this place is a bit loud- there were a lot of conversations going on around me. If you plan to come here for a quiet lunch or to get some work done, I recommend bringing headphones.

This was our last stop before heading back to Flat Florida. And I guess we did in fact save the best for last. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito and wow it was so delicious so many flavors that complimented each other so well. The service was great everyone was so kind. We got there around 9 and it was very busy but the line moved a long quickly.
It’s been 3 months since I’ve been here and I still think about this place and wish I could go back. I will be back again someday!

Food was absolutely delicious. The place is very cozy. It does get a little packed but well worth the wait! I highly recommend the Cuban latte. The golden platter and the Italian scallion sandwich was very very good!

Great food and quiet atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Breakfast burrito was excellent. I should have tried the burrito sauce on top! There is no serving of the tables as you order from the front counter which isn’t a big deal. The sidewalk patio area was a nice touch although it was windy so we sat inside. Definitely would be back again and highly recommend.

Ordered a vegan burrito, so good!! Outdoor seating area is nice! I came around 9am on a Friday morning and waited in line about 5 minutes, maybe 10 more minutes waiting on them to bring my food. Highly recommend! The burritos are huge!

Outstanding service and food. We brought our dog and sat on the rather large patio. The patio is shaded and plenty of tables. We ate the Aussie bowl. Very good!. Be sure to try the lavender or blackberry lattes.
