Totally did not think to take pictures of the food, but I’ll start from here. I had called to place and order and the staff was amazing from there! Very diner looking on this inside. You could tell they have been around for a long time. The food was great, I order a breakfast burrito and was able to do a customization. They make a jumbo burrito!

I had breakfast at that restaurant the other day, and honestly, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was really hungry that day, but the meal was so bad that I could barely eat any of it. I only managed to eat about a quarter of what was served, and I was still hungry afterward. First off, when I arrived, nobody even acknowledged me, even though I tried to get their attention multiple times. Once I finally placed my order, the meal arrived, and the bacon I got was terribly overcooked—just bland and unpleasant. Later, someone did come over to ask how everything was, and I mentioned the bacon was overdone. The chef even apologized and removed it from the bill, but that didn’t really change my overall impression. It still felt like the worst restaurant experience I’ve had.

This cute, little vintage place is incredible!! We visited our son in Oceanside and he took us there for breakfast and the food was unbelievable! The french toast – incredible, the Omelet to die for! The service was wonderful, super sweet, welcoming, kind. I saw someone had ordered the Cinnamon Roll and I was so upset that we went there the last day we were in Oceanside cause I wanted to take one of these large Cinnamon Rolls home with me but couldn’t. Can not wait for another trip to Oceanside and definitely many trips back to Mary’s for breakfast, Cinnamon Roll and will try their lunch next time too. Thank You for giving us another spot in O-side to love! Try their homemade salsa too! DELISH!!!

Great hospitality, the food was delicious. Very laid-back spot.We always come here when for breakfast when we’re in Oceanside. I had the waffle with extra powder sugar and let me tell you the waffle is so moist, you have to try it!

The food portions are good here. These are not denny’s eggs, I really enjoyed them. My buddy got the Mary’s omelet. It looked stuffed with mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers. The bacon came out nice and hot. Everything looked fresh and hot, don’t sleep on the biscuits & gravy.
This would’ve been an easy 5 stars, but unfortunately, 2 out of 5 of us never got our English muffins or toast. They got slammed, so I understand it happens. I will say our coffee stayed topped off, which is always great service.

We decided to try this place due to the rating and I’m happy to say that it’s on point. This restaurant looked like a mom & pop small town feel restaurant. When we arrived it was quiet, but a large family came and it got more exciting.

We tried one of their special that they had posted outside– spinach delight. Yes, it was. It was definitely a delight. The egg had all the right flavors and the extras complimented it even more– without any cheese. The salsa, together with the country potatoes and the eggs, was a perfect match. We also ordered the short stack pancakes and it was delicious and fluffy. They were the size of the meal plate, so it was pretty big. Other restaurants around the area charge around the same amount, but in my opinion, it isn’t worth it.

As for parking, you can park on the street in front of the restaurant or the parking lot behind the restaurant.

We also like the fact that they’re supportive of our troops and veterans. Camp pendleton happens to be really close by.

We’ll definitely be back to try other dishes or to get the same Spinach delight.

The first day I got a steak and eggs. Noticed there was a Keto plate and had that the 2nd day. Food was good. There was a sign to thank a veteran but they didn’t give veteran discount. It still didn’t deter me from coming back. It still had the best prices in town despite no discount. The food is very good and service was exceptional. Atmosphere was ok. My husband prefers atmosphere, I don’t. I’m perfectly happy with a hole in the wall as long as the food is good. You will not be disappointed going to this little family restaurant. I would definitely go back.

Great service! The waitresses and cooks= excellent! Food was decent, what u would expect yet not crazy, off-the-hook good. The mustard bottle was so disgusting my fingers stuck to the bottle… STILL a well-known spot to get bfast, lunch and dinner at decent prices.

Stepping back decades when walking through the doors, you can immediately tell you’re in for an adventure. Staff are super cool and personable. Food is amazing, generous portions of quality yumminess! Had the Carne Asada Plate, my Father the Pollo. Tried both corn and flour tortillas, out of rice today which (Rebecca?) immediately advised me of when I ordered, and we worked a substitute in the form of their home fries w cheese on em!
The PLATTERS that showed up blew me away!!! The menu selection is massive. The staff super personable, funny, and watching the team all work together was great. The kitchen is back behind a high counter, where you can hear and see everything, really cool! Double front entry doors protect from cold gusts when guests enter and exit. Love the down home original environment. A mix of booths, tables, and a little outside seating. Lastly, hold up your hand, open it, their cinnamon rolls are bigger than that.

Menu shown on this listing is NOT accurate for pricing. Expect to pay $2-5 more per item & get nickel & dimed for everything. We got one adult meal and two kids meals with a side of kielbasa and our check was $57. We wanted to sub the kielbasa for the breakfast meat & there was a downright refusal. We would have happily paid an upcharge of a few dollars but was told we had to just get/pay for a side & they could just not give us The other breakfast meat that we were going to be paying for anyway. Kind of ridiculous. The server didn’t bother to Tell us that the side was $7 for a small piece. They also didn’t bother telling us it was $4 to add strawberry topping & whip cream to my kid’s pancake. Also, we got charged a plate fee since I had a few bites of the kielbasa (I hadn’t ordered anything because there weren’t any gf options). Any time we said anything to the staff they acted like we were a problem. I got the sense that the only way you get good service here is if you are a regular. The food was definitely not worth the price we paid. It was a terrible way to start my birthday & I honestly wish we had just left when we got the first inkling of how bad the service was going to be.
