I enjoyed the food and the service was great. The Trojan Horse has a friendly atmosphere and the staff was accommodating. It would be a great place to just sit and have a beer too. It gave off pub vibes some as well as being a great restaurant. Gyro meat was excellent. Pita was very tasty. Would recommend.

It was my first time trying Greek food, and I loved it! The chicken gyro was tasty, though the chicken was just a bit dry. The fish tacos, though—sooo freaking good! The fried pickles were solid, and the baklava? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had.

I was in Bloomington for a week’s worth of work. I woke up one of those days craving Greek food. I found this spot on the main street for food and the reviews were great. I stepped in and I felt like I was transported on a boat at sea. Wow the atmosphere was incredible. The staff were also so nice. My server took care of all my needs. She recommended items on the menu and none of those items disappointed. I’ll be coming back again the next time I’m in Bloomington. Thank you!

Tonight I had a spectacular experience in this fabulous restaurant!
Although it was very hard to find a parking spot and we had to wait for more than 20 minutes, we enjoyed their bag lava ice cream and the yummy soup!
I highly recommend this place to all families and friends who want to spend a nice time together.

I have been going to Trojan Horse for a couple decades now. I have never had a bad meal or bad service. It is truly a Hoosier staple. I have a hard time going anywhere else when I’m in Bloomington! It’s a great location on the square and very close to great shops like Bonne Fete.

I wanted to like this place based off reviews but it wasn’t even close to a wow factor. Below average Greek food. Gyro meat was dry and fried pickles seemed like the oil hasn’t been changed in a long time and served cold. The mixed dips appetizer was the best part. The pita was soft.

A legend. The nostalgia hits as you pull on the heavy metal chain of the front door and walk into the dim, wood-paneled restaurant. A feeling of peace and harmony settles in as you slide into a wooden booth while the snake-haired Medusa watches over you like a buxom gargoyle. A friendly waitress keeps your iconic plastic water cup full. And the hits start playing. Delicious hummus with warm, soft pita. Tabouleh that will bring a tear to your eye it is so outrageously good. Cheese par’er for a salty, cheesy contrast. Warm dolmas with a hint of dill and lemon. Spanakopita or falafel if you want to mix it up. Hand-cut, skin-on fries. And then for dessert, you really can’t miss. Fabulous baklava. Gild the lily and get their baklava ice cream. Or go with my favorite – the aptly-named Ambrosia with layers of sour yogurt, rich honey, and finely chopped walnuts mixed with cinnamon sugar. This is food I would choose for my last meal. Eating a meal here will always feel like coming home.

Everyone has to try this place just once to be hooked on some amazing food. Everything was delicious, and don’t forget to try the mojito. It won’t disappoint.

It’s a very nice place and the staff is very friendly. Drinks are top notch. Specially the Adults-Only Baklava Milkshake. Gyros Dinner is mediocre. The combination is so and so. The side salad was great. So took away one star. Sandwiches looks good. Didn’t taste them unfortunately. It’s a busy location. So best to make a reservation before turning up with a larger group.

Hadn’t been in a while. A little disappointed, gyros has shrunk, great flavor and plentiful.
Onion rings always rock!!!
Just not like it use to be.
